Really? Bautista > Heyward and an A infield prospect > Gattis + Santana/Floyd imo.

I'd do Bautista for Heyward and something else, though. What does everyone else think of that?

Only way we deal J-Up or J-Hey is if we're wayyyyyy out of it, even then I don't see either happening at all this year.

Bleh. Not even for Bau eh?

What kind of trades do you guys think fits for Bautista? I have Holland/Alfaro right now but I dunno if I really like it.

I think if it is Bautista and Stroman/Morrow you should be able to net Heyward.

I can tell you realistically they Braves won't trade Justin Upton or Heyward. Both are young key pieces to their team. Those are two of their top 3 bats and are 26/24 years old. Heyward is a solid hitter, he's fast and a gold glover. They gave up A LOT for Upton and they've only had him and have only had him for one year now. They have no intentions of trading him or Heyward.

It would be different if Upton was signed and he's been there for a handful of years but being traded for and being there only one year I doubt it. Heyward is too good to trade. Freeman, Heyward and Justin Upton I would say are staying. Especially since the Braves are a contender right now and those players give them a good chance of winning and still can get better.

Hmm Bautista & Stroman would be mighty hard to turn down if I'm the GM. Like I said though there would have to be some reason for such a drastic move tho.

I'm not dead set on anything lol. If you guys have any suggestions I'm open to them.

Right now, the only trades I haven't gone over in this thread are Bautista, which I'm open to suggestions on, and a small deal, Dallas Keuchel for Tom Robson.

Prospects I would mind for Bau include Archie Bradley, Jonathan Gray, Lucas Giolito, Zack Wheeler, Jameson Taillon, Yordano Vetura, Nick Castellanos, etc, I dunno, I'm open minded.

I'm not sure the Stro's would do that trade. At least I wouldn't in an Astros Franchise. Keuchel doesn't look too bad, plus he's young and controllable. I would consider trading him for a close-to-MLB bat though, as that offense is extremely, extremely awful.

                    A.J. Jimenez?

Robson is a really good pitching prospect in terms of results, pedigree, and stuff. I'm not just stealing Keuchel lol.

Haha, I hear ya', as apparently Robson has a great sinker.

It could just be me, but I actually really like A.J Jimenez coming back for Keuchel. This would allow Castro a bit more time at DH, and Carter...more time on the bench, haha. But, it really does give the Astros a good C combo, and some flexibility.

Back to Pittsburgh for a package based around Taillon? (Despite the injury he is one of the few prospects I see as a future legit #1)

Oakland for Young pitching (Probably would have to take Reddick back in the deal but maybe you can rebuild some value)

Zona for Shipley, Didi + another good piece

To Cleveland for pretty much anything you might like in their system. I feel like you might be able to pull Lindor since they could resign Cabrera (Although I doubt it)

I still like the Texas deal the best

Is there a screen where you can see every teams budget? Having a hard time planning trades without knowing how much space teams have,

Rollin' with the Braves, and looking to get rid of Bossman Junior. Here is what I had in mind:

                                To Seattle:
BJ Upton (decent year this year)
                                Tyler Pastornicky

                                To Atlanta:
                                2B Nick Franklin
                                RP Clay Rapada

(Rapada is interchangeable for me, just wanted another piece in return)
