I also thought the Rockies would be a good fit, but I think more of a Story and Brett Anderson since he'd be their fourth starter after trade, with it going Masterson, Chacin (having a great year so far in game) and Morales (also having a great year). Rutledge is their everyday 2b for now and Dahl is their top hitting prospect, so I think a post hype guy like Story and decent middle to bottom of rotation guy like Anderson would be a solid deal. Thoughts?
Rosario/Herrera + Chatwood/McMahon, then.

The mets absolutely need anything but pitching seriously by next season the could have 8 or 9 potential starers for the rotationComment

Dodgers get David Wright
Mets Gets Cory Seager, Tom Windle, Julio Urias.
This trade got past me in my franchise it seems like to much for Wright. But before i reverse it figured i would ask here.Comment

Hey AC, being an expert on the Blue Jays I was wondering if you could give me some trade input.
I am goina start my Twins chise when the hybrid roster comes out. I want to trade Mauer and the Blue Jays look like a fit. I was even thinking of throwing in Dozier since they badly need a 2nd baseman. What kind of package do you think I could swing?
Anyone can feel free to give input on other destinations and packages. I will be trading him as a catcher fyi. I want to go for fairness and realism (assuming that I am the GM of the Twins I dont think a Mauer trade is unrealistic)Comment

Re: MLB 14 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
Sorry for the double post. I wanted to post my question separate. This deal isnt awful considering the usual computer trade logic. I think that LA is probably cool with Uribe for now since he was productive last season and they are really high on Seager and Urias. I would reverse the trade unless Uribe is struggling and the Dodgers are trying to load up. Value-wise its an overpay but thats the only way Wright gets movedComment

It's a little unfair value wise but I don't think the Mets will ever move David Wright, he's our JeterComment

Ended up doing Asdrubel and Jason Giambi for Vic Black and Lucas Duda.
Still deciding what to do with Masterson.
In other news, Bauer has been struggling so he is going to get to experiment with the closer role in AAA for my squad.

Re: MLB 14 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
My Cardinals franchise is going pretty much the same way as the team is playing in real life. That means no bats at all. The end of May is nearing, and if I can't get my offense to wake up I'll probably be out of contention by the deadline considering how the rest of the Central is playing (Brewers and Reds are hot at the moment). If this actually happens I'll be looking to trade Adams (he's the only one hitting with any power with 10 HRs. Just can't get guys on base in front of him), call up Taveras and move Craig back to first so I can start OT full-time in the outfield. My question is which team would be a good fit for Adams and what could I get for him?
Other players I'd be willing to move either separately or in a package with Adams are Jay (who's batting over .300 right now) and Choate. Also Peralta, but seeing as this is his first season as a Cardinal (and with an average under .200) I thought it might be a bit unrealistic. After all, they paid big money to get him.Comment
