Went with a Closer. Drafted 3rd round by Houston.

I know after the initial 5+g is done the rest doesn't show up in notifications so how does somEone know how long until the game is done?

A couple questions for those who have already played.

1. Is the request a trade/position change feature still around? If so, is it like the past few years where it's essentially impossible to have that granted?

2. I saw you have the option this year to return to school. How does that work? Do you play "college games" or do you essentially just get a year older and retry the showcase game?

Lol I have the opposite problem. I pull the ball almost every time.

Also for he guy asking, the position change and trade player options are still there. Neither have worked for me so far. And for the showcase, if you go to college you just get older, gain training points and retry the showcase.


As for me, made a power hitting 1b. Bombed the initial showcase, went to 4 year college and did a lot better. Only problem is that Arizona drafted me. Crap.

Yes you can ask to change position and or ask for a trade and most of the time they will. Going back to school there are 4 options, you just get older but re-play the showcase and are drafted in 2014, hope this helps.

I've asked for a trade 3 times and the stupid phillies won't trade me or bring me to mlb I'm 12 points better then the mlb starter

Sometimes they wont , they key comment is " if your unhappy we want you committed and if your not we will find someone to trade with " , then it usually happens. If they say we are working on a trade it usually never happens.

Just started one as a 2B. I did decent in the showcase and ended up getting drafted by the Angels. I'm excited to work my way up to the MLB level and eventually play with Mike Trout!

I got it all loaded up and proceeded to transfer all my 10 RTTS files from the PS3 to my PS4. It ran smooth no hiccups or problems loading from the cloud save.

Ya I always get the we are working on it line. I actually just got called up 2 weeks into year 2 I played like 50 or more games since 10am. So now I don't even know if I want traded. I don't wanna go back to the minors

Started a SS with contact hitting and speed. Did okay in showcase. Projected 2nd round but I picked the Mariners for a team to go to, so I think that is what caused me to fall to the 6th pick in the 3rd round.

Had a good second game of the year. Went 3-5 with 2 doubles and 3 SB. One of the steals was at home. 2 outs and a full count. I started running on the pitch and it was a walk. I arrived at home just as the batter started walking toward first. Catcher just sat there. Wasn't sure I was safe.

Edit: just looked at the highlights and the catcher was ready for me by the time I was 2/3 down the base path but must have missed the tag and I was called safe. He put his glove down to tag and then lifted it back up and I slid under. Minor league ball?

Well fells, since I thought that all I had to do to transfer my RTTS players from ps3 to ps4 was upload them to the PS+ cloud servers and not the show's cloud, it looks like I'm starting fresh. The character I'll miss most is my catcher turned 1st baseman that ended up starting in Pittsburgh as an 18yo 3 months into the first season.

I'm thinking of doing several different showcase's at different positions two pick a postion player and I'll be doing either a SP or CP as well... Will update later tonight after I pick my position.
