As pitcher in RTTTS, How do you attempt to go after balls hit close to the mound, even if its a harder hit ball? Ive seen every CPU pitcher do this all the time. They all have low fielding ability too. Ive tried to raise the fielding, and reaction rating, but it still never generates a animation for attempting to do so. How can the AI pitcher make spinning backhand attempts and bending over double attempts when its hit close to him and i cant do the same even with higher fielding and reaction ratings? Its frustrating tovsay the least. Iscit something thats broken?

Last Show i had was 12. Is 14 (PS4) different or is it still mostly the same, graphics and gameplay wise? Thinking of getting it tmrw. So looking for opinions I'm a Season mode player, would have played Franchise but in 12 it didn't allow less than 162 games, which makes sense. Also I remember there is something to make the games go by faster?

Get 14. I went from 12 to 14 too and it's a huge difference. I'll probably even stick with 14 again this next year and wait till 16 to get it again.

Yes ther's quick counts which make the games go faster but I never used them. I enjoy every pitch.

How's the game visually in videos it looks same as PS3, but i've realized that watching videos of next gen games doesn't do justice to how they look when you actually play it in person

I'm not one that can comment on the graphical analysis. I've always thought they all looked amazing. But since your coming from 12 I would have to think your going to notice a pretty substantial difference.

Mill....there are threads for each historical roster in the roster sub-forums.
They will usually have a link for download/transfer and the name of the roster to download directly from the Vault.

Relatively new to baseball, just wondered how the offseason on franchise mode works? Do I need to resign all the minor league players? Also, why are there no big free agents? People like Lester, scherzer, Shields etc just don't seem to be there at all when free agency hits.

You do...but you can also delegate signings to the CPU at any point(I don't recommend that though )

Yes...teams are very aggressive at times at keeping their players.

A lot of people control all 30 teams...and for the exclusive signing period(5 days following the World Series)....they take control of signings for a few days and don't do anything....they will then turn signings back to the CPU for the other teams and let them finish out the off season. It helps to let some big names hit the market.

Don't forget...if YOU are signing players for your team.....you have to re-offer players contracts the final week of the off season that haven't signed.
There is a "bug" that doesn't notify you they declined your offer(this is really contract renewable players that you offered a multi-year deal to...and they don't want it...you then give them the contract renewable offer they MUST accept)

I was playing The Show tonight and I went to go see a replay of a home run I hit, and I was stuck. I couldn't get back in the game. It didn't freeze, just wouldn't let me back out of the replay.

Has this happened to anyone else?

Is there any way to update/customize the team uniforms? Like adding/updating patches?
