Anyone seen the issue where a ball hit to up the middle, your holding the thumbstick in the direction of the ball, but the game like loops the SS ina quick circle the opposite direction? Causing you to have no shot at getting the ball, but if it didn't glitch you most likely could've gotten there? That is a very frustrating issue.

I don't like the throw meter but i like the one where it shows it under the player at his feet, what do I need to do to set that up in the options?

You need to go to the Fielding settings and change the throwing meter from "Button Accuracy" to "Buttons" I believe.

Do schedules stay the same in offline franchise mode every year or do you eventually play interleague teams in other divisions? For example, I'm in year 2 with the Cubs and have played the AL East (and the annual White Sox series) both years and was wondering if I'll be playing AL West/AL Central teams outside of the World Series at any point?

I have two questions for you guys:

1. I know in real life a guy in double-A or triple-A can use that time to develop before being brought up into the majors. In this game, though does it matter? I'm using a roster set where I have Oscar Taveras in triple-A as a 70 overall. If I bring him up will he develop slower than if I kept him in triple-A?

2. Taveras is an outfielder so I was curious that if I brought him up and changed his position would that effect him at all? The Cardinals weakest area is 2nd base, so if I stuck Taveras there would his ratings decrease or is does he essentially have the same ratings no matter if he's playing LF or 2nd base?

To answer the first question, I believe it does, if Taveras doesn't get at bats in the Majors but would in AAA I believe he would develop at a slower pace.

Is there anything that can be done to remedy the problem where guys come into the game with perfectly rendered bodies but black heads or heads with lots of black splotches on their heads and necks?

Quick question guys. I have played this games since it came out on the PS3 and I have never done this but now I'm curious. Since I've been earning stubs and not paying for them I am curious about budgets in franchise mode. If I buy the 20 million budget increase is it a permanent increase?

For example if my teams budget is 80 million and I add 20 million, then have a good season and they bump me up 10% at the end of the year. Is my budget going into the next year 110 million or will it revert back to the 80 million plus the 10%.?

I don't think I could add more than 20 million without feeling like I was cheating and I'm not sure I'm going to try it. I definitely won't if it's not permanent. Plus is there a penalty, like the luxury tax if I go over the max. What if I was playing the Dodgers and bought the 250 million dollar budget increase?

Ive searched but to no avail for this, so sorry if it has been answered already.

Is it possible to do manual injuries during RTTS? I remember in past years it was an option that would allow you to block a ridiculous trade made by your team by manually injuring the players involved. Thanks!

I've found rebooting fixes this, and knock on wood, since I've run the last update, I haven't run into it again.

I simmed about 3 season's ahead in my rangers franchise and tbh i didn't take any notice of what division teams where in but in each season there was only one different IL series. So each season i would play the same NL teams except one would be swapped for another team, then that team would return next season and another team would be swapped. So each season i had a couple of games against a different team.
Not sure if it changes much beyond 3-4 seasons, tbh don't think i would go past 2 season's unless i sim alot.

Any news on giving the umpires jackets? With the power of the PS4 I was surprised the base umps still have short sleeves for cold games. Kinda messes with the aesthetics a bit.

I recently bought this game, and have no idea how to play it. are there any online wright-ups or video tutorials? i can hardly seem to hit anything...how do you am where you want to swing the bat? I just have too many questions which is why a comprehensive overview is best.

a big problem i have with this game is online play. the game seems to jump, as in, i would get one strike, then all of a sudden the game fast forwards to a count of 3-2, or sometimes i get one strike and it counts the that one strike as an entire out. is this game broken? what is going on?
