Does MLB 14 have an option where rosters can be downloaded and applied to saved franchises, etc? I think that would be a neat addition so that we could import rosters directly into new franchises without starting new ones or manually trading players

Is there a way to completely disable the infield shift? The CPU automatically shifts my teams' infield position usually when a lefty is up. I'm not a believer in the shift at all. I want my fielders to play straight up.

I think you can make the shift manual in on of the gameplay options. I assume if it's on "manual", it will be off unless you say otherwise

What happened to the power throwing meter under the fielder's feet that was in previous versions. Am I missing something?

Double checked before entering this game, used the correct profile and still messed up.

This has been happening to me too. It changes in the side selection screen, even though I have my experienced profile loaded when I select a side it defaults to beginner. Just hit the right stick to the right and it will change to experienced.

Anyone else find this? is there something I'm missing as to why it keeps changing on me?

basic question... on ps4 franchise with classic baserunning,it doesn't say how to tag up. if I wanna tag up from 3rd to home on a deep fly ball,do I hit R1 to return to base then square and down on d-pad to send guy home? hit square and down on d-pad at same time,seperatley ?? thanx in advance

Guys there's pages with all the controls explained right inside the game itself, whether it be classic baserunning or default, or whatever kind of schemes your using. I can't remember at the moment, but it's in the menus, just look for it. That's what I do anyway. Then you always have it there too if you need to double check.

How do you select a relief pitcher to warm up? How do you (what buttons do I push) substitute players? How do I save a game in Franchise?

1. hit option button on DS4 and go to your bullpen, select the pitcher click x and hit warm up.

2. hit option DS4 go to lineup select player in left column to leave game, then select replacement from right column.

3. hit otion and exit game, will ask if you want to save or just quit, select save then next time you load your franchise the saved game will boot automatically.

Other than to look at your outfielders assists in the stats screen?

Heres my dilemma. I run a 2-team franchise controlling the Jays and Royals. We're facing eachother. I set the lineup for the Royals to specifically adjust for our current fatigue situation before going into the game, but play as the Blue Jays. when I get into the game, the CPU has generated its own lineup for the Royals. Why would this happen? and now I cant quit from the game without simulating it?
