Just try and give them rests at the end of games when ur either winning by a lot or losing by a lot. That way they get a lil rest every so often. That's what I do in my giants chise and it seems to limit them getting tired on long trips where there's very few days off.

Yeah I do that, I've had a string of like 10 games decided by 3 or fewer runs lately. Awesome for gameplay terrible for rest, I just wish they'd seperate durability and stamina for Position players like they do pitchers. They are 2 different things entirely. If a player gets a bump or bruise I'm happy to sit them but having to bench a healthy starter every 4th day sucks .

I agree. It seems like it happens a lot more with older players. That's why I try and rest my older starters a lil more to give some younger bench players some reps.

Dynamic attendance in effect?

I played a series vs the Twins last night in RTTS and Target Field was EMPTY. There was a scattering of people in the bowl area but out in the outfield stands there was hardly a soul. It was actually cool to see, since I remember hearing the MLB didn't want the game to include empty stadiums because it makes the game look bad or something

I must be looking at the wrong area then, because while in RTTS I go to edit player and it looks like I can't change my stance.

Maybe I'm missing something here.

In frachise mode can you change attributes of a player after you start? I never do this but I just called up Gose and saw he has a 67 speed attribute! Thats a huge overlook on SCEA's part I'd like to correct without starting my whole franchise over...

Does the draft feature all 40 rounds in Franchise?

no it doesn't. My draft went about 7 rounds.

The draft needs to be improved drastically in my humble opinion.

There are only 4 levels...only 3 full and playable.
I don't think there is room for much more than 10 rounds max.....and most of those players are throw away players anyway.

My bad, I should have expanded on my broad statement. I wasn't referring to the fact that I believe the draft should be expanded in terms of rounds, just the depth of the draft as whole. It feels very bland in the scouting and the information provided to us about each prospect.

I think they need to give us more in terms of feedback about the prospect as well as stats and things of that nature.

Ahh...
Yeah...they took a step in the right direction last year....but drafting/scouting in general could use a big facelift.

I guess I could look at their ratings before I start a series, I just figured there would be a way in-game.

IIRC push the options button then the R1 once, then you'll see a place where it says something like player ratings, click on that. Once there use the R2 and L2 buttons to switch teams. Hope I remembered it all correctly for you.

What is IIRC? Because I am wandering the same as well. The old way was removed. For the last two years, you could view the CPU defensive ratings by using the d-pad which was under the defensive position, bullpen and opponent bullpen.

Is it best to load sliders in or outside of franchise? Or does it not matter?
