Re: MLB 14 The Show Q & A (PS4)
I haven't gotten my copy yet but from everything ive seen i believe that RTTS is vastly improved but I like you would like to see more personality. I love the way 2k14 did the my career mode this year where you interact with the media, the general managers, and the coaches. I wish SCEA would do something like that say maybe on your off days in RTTS where you could possibly have interviews or meetings with your manager or general manager. Just something to add a little more life other than always training or playing gamesComment

Re: MLB 14 The Show Q & A (PS4)
Someone like Knight or Steve has to contact Ramone for this, how can his face scan not be on the PS4 version is unacceptable. I got the PS3 version and yes he looks spot on. SCEA please fix!

Re: MLB 14 The Show Q & A (PS4)
Prefaced the same as usual: Brand new to The Show.
I've seen some posts in the past wondering about space in the outfield and scale as far as covering ground on fly balls/gappers.
From those screenies you guys just posted it sure does look like they're pretty realistic as far as player models to outfield size go?
Does it play as good as it looks? Or do the outfielders get to everything too quickly? Again just looking for some insight since ive never owned the game. Not nitpicking or trying to be little the game. Just curious.

Re: MLB 14 The Show Q & A (PS4)
I'm wondering about the defensive options as far as RTTS and player lock are concerned. Is there an option to see all the pitches or do you only see plays involving you?Comment

Re: MLB 14 The Show Q & A (PS4)
Been awhile since I've played MLB The Show, last time I had it was 07' on the PS2. Switched to Xbox, came back to Playstation considering a huge factor was I wanted a good baseball game. For someone who's only played MLB2k as of late, is the curve incredibly sharp and is it knock your socks off type of stuff?NFL - Miami Dolphins
NBA - Miami Heat
MLB - Miami Marlins
NHL - Florida Panthers
Soccer - Real Madrid

You can choose to see all pitches. Doesn't have to be just your plays.Comment

Re: MLB 14 The Show Q & A (PS4)
To elaborate on this (assuming it hasn't changed from PS3 which I seriously doubt), you have several options for how much or how little of the game you want to participate in. The option to change is RTTS Game Watch, and all of these can be found in the Mode Specific section of user settings or under RTTS Options while in a game:
Classic - Only plays that involve your player (with a few exceptions, sometimes the ball won't come to you for some reason)
All Pitches - No Fast Forwarding, you watch every single pitch of the ballgame as though it were a normal one.
All Fielding - All pitches while your player is on defense will be played out. Your team's at-bats (except for you) are fast-forwarded.
Result Play - Shows only the last pitch of every at bat. Think of it as quick counts for everyone except your player when he's at the plate (it existed in this game before quick counts, btw).
Result Fielding - Same as above, but only for while you're in the field. Your team's at-bats are fast forwarded (except for you)
Player Lock functions the same way as in-game RTTS, and all of these settings work the same when it's activated.Comment

Re: MLB 14 The Show Q & A (PS4)
I know it's unlikely many people will be able to answer this, but what's progression and regression like in franchise mode?
Is it really unfair to older players like last year?
