Re: MLB 14 The Show Q & A (PS4)
I've forgotten to ask until now and this is something I've hoped they add every year and since I haven't heard anything about it I'm assuming it's not in but it's such a fundamental part of the game here goes:
Is cutting the ball off mid throw from the outfield possible this year after already comitting to go straight to a base?Comment

Will test this tomorrow unless someone else does.
Something I'd also like to know, I have a gut feeling it's something they didn't bother correcting though.Comment

Re: MLB 14 The Show Q & A (PS4)
Played some in Citizens Bank Park and there is something odd with the Liberty Bell. Only part of it is lit and the rest is not. I even hit a home run and it didn't light up like it showed in that early video a few weeks ago. I even posted some pics in the photo thread to show what I'm talking about.
Can anyone else with the game test this out and see if it does the same thing for them? Thanks.
Here's what I'm talking about.

Re: MLB 14 The Show Q & A (PS4)
Runner on second. Ball hit to the outfield.
You should be able to throw home to see if you can get the runner at the plate but then decide to cut the ball off by the first baseman at the last second if the batter decides to advance to second and you don't have a shot at the plate.
That's fundamental. As it stands, you have to decide off the bat if you want to try and throw the guy out at home (giving up second in the process) or just concede the run and keep the runner at first.
That's now how it works in real life.Comment

Yeah, I see what you mean! Sometimes I don't know if I should throw to the cutoff man or go strait to a base, that would be good to have.1458, not counting playoffs, that's the number of games in a row I haven't missed! Go Yanks!Comment

Re: MLB 14 The Show Q & A (PS4)
I have been wanting the same thing! Their are times where I go to throw home and the player makes such a bad throw I want to just cut it off but can't and other base runners advance

Not sure if this was mentioned, but for those who are wondering, sounds of the show is there, just don't think you can do anything with it yet.1458, not counting playoffs, that's the number of games in a row I haven't missed! Go Yanks!Comment

I did see the chant boxes...but I don't know if you can edit/record anything in them or not.
