The Liberty Bell at Citizens Bank Park is not lighting up when a home run is hit, and during the game only part of it is lit when all of it should be.

Yeah, I remember that too. The video also showed the whole thing lit during the game too. I'm going to check again later tonight after my son goes to bed and see if it was a one time thing or something. Hopefully.

I gotta a fever...and the only prescription is more Liberty bell. I'm thinking next year the unique stadium animations will be a selling point. They seem like some parks have 'em and some don't.

Does it become harder to pitch with runners on-base ie: is there a pitcher composure factor to this game?

They are aware that people want this but they are not going to implement something for the sake of doing it until it can be done well. One of the obstacles is animation syncing so it looks believable and not just some spastic catch animation just because you pressed a button to do it.

Wouldn't expect anything less..but for how many years has this been a problem?

If anyone that has the game early could take a pic of the SunTrust club behind home plate at Turner Field, I'd appreciate it.

They haven't seemed to include the extra green seats right up front behind the netting or the fact there's doors under the blue backdrop in years past. Wondering if they finally did.

Also I have to imagine they want to do the cut's right.

Yes, MVP had it, but fundamentaly their cuts were very basic and wrong. They just put the closest fielder in the spot and called it a day.


I imagine if these guys put it in, they want to do it right. I know I'm overcomplicating it but there is a lot more to cut offs then having the first or third baseman move into place.

Double cut's should be in as well. I have to imagine that it's nearly impossible to program proper cut off positions for the many scenarios you could come across throughout any given game.

Absolutely...

Also.....there was those weird warping paths that the ball would take if you called for the cut-off sometimes....and the player wasn't in line with the ball.
It looked hideous.
They want it....but they are not just putting it in....to put it in.
