Through 16 games I am currently 13-3 with my cardinals. I'm using quick counts and dynamic difficulty(all star for both pitching and hitting). I called up Taveras to start the season and he's already hit 5 home runs. Surprisingly, Molina is only hitting around .130; I can't for the life of me catch a break with him. My offense as a whole is only batting around .265 but I only have a team Era of 1.80. My pitching has shut down everyone I've faced so far, hopefully it lasts!

Just beat St. Louis 5-2. Wood pitches 6 innings 2 runs 5 SO. Vera's recorded his 9th save to start the season. SchierholtZ hit his 4th home run of the year a 2 run shot to give the cubs a 3-0 lead after a rizzo sac fly. Lake chipped in an RBI double and bonofacio had 2 triples and an RBI. I am now 15-14

Everyone except rizzo, wood, Castro, are avaliable to be traded.

I do however want to keep rondon and strop as I am pretty good with those two, rondon has an era of like 1.46 and strop has yet to allow a run and he will be my closer probably if and when I trade Veras.

So I started my Angels franchise, and I'm 3-6 the second week of April. I traded Trout to the Cards for a lion's share worth of pitching and a couple position players. The two big pieces I got were Michael Wacha and Kevin Siegrist. The Angels really need pitching, and have plenty of offense, even without Trout. It was hard to trade him, but it is a video game after all, and I wanted to see what I could do without him.

Started a Yankees franchise, where I plan to play all 162. Currently 2-4 after losing a series to the Astros and then the Blue Jays. Offense scored 7 runs in the first 5 games, then put it together and scored 7 last game. Tanaka pitched 6 innings, giving up 1 hit in his debut. Sabathia has been fantastic. Nova didn't make it out of the 5th in his first start, while Pineda gave up 7 runs in less than 2 innings in his debut (could have used some pine tar). Beltran has been on a tear but the rest of the offense is struggling.

About to go home for the first time for a 3-game set with the Orioles, followed by a 4-game series with Boston. Hopefully I'll start to turn it around.

I swept the cardinals this time in a 6-4 victory. It was 6-0 going into the 8th then Blake Parker surrendered 4 runs to raise his era to 6.37. Arrietta pitched 7 shut out innings 4 hits, 4BB, 4SO. Rizzo hits a two run homer and finished the game with 3 RBI he now leads the national league with 28 RBI through 30 games. Lake and bonofacio had an RBI each and Castro who is now hitting over .300 had an RBI. Veras is 10/10 in save opportunities and has an era of 2.36. I am now 16-14 on to the hated white sox for a home and home 4 game set.

This season is starting out exactly as my ps3 version record wise. I went 13-14 in each and swept the cards On my ps4 I also just swept the cards and won my first 5 games in May and very doable against the white sox who won the worst record in the mlb.

Beat the white sox 4-0 then got crushed by the white sox 9-1. In the 9-1 loss Jackson pitched 4.0 innings 4 BB, 7 hits, 5 runs allowed. Parker continues to struggle giving up 2 more runs out the bullpen and Russell also allowed 2 runs. Rizzo had my line RBI a sac fly in the 9th. Franks pitched a complete game. On to us cellular to finish a home and home I am now 17-15

I started a franchise with the Twins. We are 9-6 and we are getting hot. I called up Alex Mayer and he is 2-1 with a 0.83 ERA. I traded for Gattis, Uggla, Dominic Brown, O' Day, and Tommy Hunter. The problem is Buxton and Sano are struggling in AA but they will heat up. I'm using quick counts and I'm playing every other game so I'll play 81 games in total, not including playoffs. (If we make it)

What an extra inning game I just had in my Phillies franchise.

Marlins @ Phillies (Jose Fernandez vs. Roberto Hernandez)

The first 5 innings of this game was a complete pitchers duel between the two teams as neither offense could really get anything going. The Marlins finally broke through against Roberto Hernandez in the 6th inning. Greg Dobbs laced a 2 out double to center field. Up stepped Jarrod Saltalamacchia who then proceeded to hit a 2-run inside-the-park home run! After a walk to Reed Johnson, Roberto Hernandez's night ended.

The Phillies finally got to Jose Fernandez in the bottom of the 6th inning, Freddy Galvis, just in from a double switch, led off the inning with a solo home run to left field. Ben Revere worked a full count and walked, Jimmy Rollins hit an infield single, Chase Utley struck out, Ryan Howard singled to right field, and Marlon Byrd doubled to left field to score Revere and Rollins to give the Phillies a 3-2 lead!

In the top of the 7th inning, with Jeff Manship pitching, Casey McGehee led off the inning with a triple to center field. Christian Yelich then grounded out to first to score McGehee to tie the game at 3-3.

The Marlins ended up taking the lead in the top of the 9th inning. Marcell Ozuna singled to left field, Christian Yelich sacrificed Ozuna to 2nd, Donovan Solano flied out to center field, Giancarlo Stanton was intentionally walked. Jake Diekman is called into the game to face Garrett Jones who promptly doubles to center field to score Ozuna and Stanton to give the Marlins a 5-3 lead.

Steve Cishek is called in to close the game out in the bottom of the ninth. Domonic Brown led off the inning with a single to center field, Carlos Ruiz flied out to right field, John Mayberry Jr. pinch hit and struck out, Freddy Galvis worked a full count and walked, Brown and Galvis advanced to 3rd and 2nd on a wild pitch, Ben Revere worked a full count with 2 outs and laced a double to center field to score Brown and Galvis and tie the game at 5-5!!

Onto extra innings where Brad Lincoln worked 4 solid innings holding the Marlins scoreless. Chase Utley led off the bottom of the 13th inning and struck out but reached on a dropped third strike that was thrown into right field for an error. Ryan Howard then struck out and reached 1st on a dropped third strike that allowed Utley to advance to 3rd. Up stepped Marlon Byrd who singles to center field to score Utley and give the Phillies the 6-5 win! It is also their 6th win in a row after beginning the season 0-4.

Was an awesome game except for the fact that my 3 and 4 hitters Utley and Howard combined for 9 strikeouts in the game. Brutal. Utley struck out 4 times and Howard struck out 5 times! Phillies overall had 15 strikeouts. Ouch.

I do the same as above. I just play 1 sim 5 but also play games I think would be fun. That format had be skipping a 3 game series at Fenway. My Brewers never go to Fenway more than once a year so I played all 3 and went on with the play 1 sim 5.

I usually like to have full control over my stats, but I enjoy offseason more. Quick counts is a route to take, but I like starting 0-0 and working counts.

I'm playing every game in a Marlins' Franchise on Dynamic Difficulty.

I sometimes play the minor league games in the franchise too.

I'm trying to play on the same day as the actual games, so I keep up with the real MLB, rather than play it as quickly as possible.

Just had a good game beat the white sox in 13 innings 5-4. Lake had a hit and a walk and 2 runs scored. Sweeney had an rbi double. Mike Olt went 3-5 with 2 RBI, one in the 11th to put me ahead 3-2, then Veras came in and blew his first save, then Olt had an RBI double in 13th to put me ahead 5-3. Scheirholtz had the game tying RBI in the 8th, and Castro had a sac fly as well. Hammel pitched 6 innings 2 runs he did walk 5 though. My bullpen is taxed everyones energy is below half, so I need to great start out of Travis Wood in the series finale which I lead 2-1. Russel got the save but after recording the first two outs he allowed 2 straight hits followed by 2 walks, White Sox left the bases loaded in the 13th. I move to 18-15.

I probably wont make any trades until june, probably dumb Veras and Hammel, then in July I will look to trade Samardzija, Scheirholtz, Barney, etc.

If Javier Baez continues to rake I will probably call him up, hes hitting like .360, 7 HR, 26 RBI, but the call up wont come until late June.

Just took 3 of 4 from Boston. Now 8-5 on the year, Boston is 1-10 which is crazy and hilarious at the same time.
