My God has the pitching in my Phillies franchise gone down the toilet in the last 14 games. It's brutal. I'm 4-10 in those 14 games too.

vs. Angels

L 8-5
L 7-1

vs. Reds

L 12-5
L 13-3
W 5-3

@ Marlins

L 7-6
L 9-4
W 4-2

vs. Dodgers

L 8-2
W 2-1
W 6-3

vs. Rockies

L 9-1
L 8-1
L 10-7

I have been outscored 100-52 in those 14 games and given up 27 home runs for a 7.14 team ERA in that stretch. Absolutely horrendous. I now sit at 23-29 on May 28th. The fire sale may happen sooner rather than later if this keeps up.

I feel you with the pitching struggles. My team ERA is around 5 20 games in. Too many big innings where I can't stop the bleeding and too many walks.

I see guys drop pitcher consistency on HOF and holy cow I can't imagine that. Mine is at default and I honestly might up it. Too many 3 ball counts for me and then my pitchers are very off the mark.

I might bump up control to 6 just to give myself a little better control. They hit me hard anyways I don't think it will give me too muh of an advantage

I'm using Armor & Sword's sliders at the moment with pitcher consistency and control at 4. My team ERA overall for the season thus far is at 4.07. It was in the mid 3's before this stretch. My pitching has never been this bad in The Show ever. I posted some team stats on the previous page. Individual pitcher ERA's aren't horrible by any stretch for most guys, but just the combined performance hasn't been there.

Wilin Rosario should have been arrested for all the murder he committed on me in that Rockies series. I can NEVER get that guy out. In the final game of the series I was down 3-0, tied it at 3-3, went ahead 6-3 on a Jimmy Rollins 3-run homer, then gave it all back and then some the next inning. Gave up a few base hits to make the game 6-5, then the bases were loaded and Wilin Rosario hit a grand slam to make it 9-6. I knew as soon as he stepped to the plate he was hitting a salami no matter where I pitched the ball. Just knew it. Thankfully I'm done with the Rockies for the season, but knowing my luck he'll get traded to a team in the NL East and continue to commit crimes to my pitching staff.

Man that is a bad 14 game swing. Hopefully you can bounce back and it will much more rewarding when you do.

Worst stretch of games I have EVER had in the history of playing MLB The Show since 2007. I hope it turns around. Cliff Lee is scheduled to start a series against the Mets next.

I noticed alot of my minor league guys disappeared? Anyone else have this problem? I need about 30 players to fill all my rosters

These might be your contract renewable players.
They are not automatically signed.
If you offer them a contract during the early-mid portion of the off season...they might not accept it...but there is no notification...you must then re-offer them a contract of at least 80% of their current contract(they HAVE to take that offer)...
This will be towards the very end of the off season signing period.
I think you can tell when the offer is no longer listed(not sure though) if they are not taking your initial offer.

I'm on HOF with CPU contact at 5, power at 5, fouls at 0, and solid hits at 4 and timing at 4.

They still foul off plenty!!!!

I have good games but I get tagged as well. I'm near the bottom in walks given up which is likely the reason for my struggles.

I also use classic pitching. There are games my guys can paint corners and others where I am middle and it's in the dirt.

Well how is classic pitching? I know as a pitcher you don't want to walk guys but when I play it seems like I never walk anybody, which isn't realistic. Maybe classic pitching makes it harder and I would walk more batters? It's a weird question I know lol.

You will without a doubt walk guys!!!!

I also use quick counts so I could have a 3-0 count in a bad spot. Its not for everybody!

That's why I might bump control up to 6 for me.

I think I will give it a shot then. Any pitcher I used could paint the corners and I would never walk anybody. My pitcher would have like 80 strikes and 20 balls. That's unrealistic.

With QC's it can be frustrating at times. I have wall 5+ in outing with starters.

I do notice a difference with better pitchers. Gerrit Cole is a guy who I don't walk many with because he is highly rated. Most others just don't have that same level if control.

So does classic pitching use players attributes more than say meter pitching? In meter pitching if you hit it right the ball goes where you want, and when you get good you can dominate. With classic I'm guessing if you are using a pitcher with low control, the ball won't end up where you wanted it to be.
