Congratulations! I have only gone 6 innings with a no-no...never beyond.

Great job, and love the beer front and central in your pic...but Kershaw vs Miami barely counts as a Major League no hitter! lol, just kidding.

Man CB it was a stressful last 3 innings. I've been to 5/6 innings deep several times and as soon as the announcers bring it up I would crack but not today.

I'm still on a high!!!! My wife and kids are still laughing at me. What I didn't mention was I made my wife/kids come downstairs and support me the last inning. Hilarious what gaming can do to a grown man.

I can't even being to imagine the stress that you were under. I always find myself trying to be perfect and get the hitter out as quickly as possible and then blowing the no-no.

Love the fact that your wife and kids supported you!

I had the CPU drag bunt with a slower runner and it broke up the no hitter!

I hit the next guy to relieve my frustration.

I'll be starting a new Mariners Franchise when Mizzou's final OSFM roster come out. I'll be posting it on here, but I will post more in-depth updates on my Blog/Dynasty Blog. Either that, or I might make a thread on the Baseball Dynasties page. Hope some of you go check it out

Re: MLB 14 The Show Franchise Progress

Started up my original idea of blowing up the Yanks again, hopefully my roommate won't save over this one. I got bored with the other one since I had only played 15 or so of the 90 games. Thus far I've played every game on QC and will continue to do so. Finished up April with a record of 19-8. The games were Tanaka and Lincey start are the 2 I try the most to win since the rest of the rotation is awful. Here are some stats:

                    Lineup
SS DJ .258 3 HR 14 RBI (Down to a 79 already, sigh)
                    RF Ichiro .273 1 HR 9 RBI 7 SB (77)
                    CF Trout .306 2 HR 19 RBI 8 SB
LF Harper .315 4 HR 23 RBI (surprising thus far as I hit .158 in ST with him)
                    DH A-Rod .250 5 HR 16 RBI (81)
1B Ibañez .389 5 HR 16 RBI (After one month my best hitter by far, was around the .410 for most of the month. Down to a 69)
2B Soriano .226 4 HR 5 RBI (Fun fact: all of his HR's have been solo shots. Also switched him from a RF to 2B started as a 90 down to an 86)
                    C Cervelli .213 3 HR 7 RBI
3B Nakajima .192 3 HR 5 RBI (easily my worst hitter)

                    Bench
                    C Torrealba .148 0 HR 2 RBI
                    SS Caroll .150 0 HR 0 RBI
1B Kotchman .273 0 HR 1 RBI (started out in AAA. Designated Roberts, he got the call up)
                    CF Gutierrez .174 0 HR 1 RBI

Bench has been non-existent thus far, Roberts was hitting around the .080 mark. Had to let him go.

Bottom of the 6th, no hitter.

My wife can see me smirking and filled with joy.

She walks over and asks me what's up.

I think Flight should consign his out for occasions like this.

If he's knows what's important, the answer should be easy.

I decided to do a fantasy draft with the Red Sox, and tried to keep things realistic by going after younger, cheaper players, rather than top-loading with older vets. The problem is that my team has great pitching (at least starters), but can't hit a lick.

In real life, they are the 3rd, 5th and 6th best prospects in all of baseball. I wasn't buying for a playoff push either, since I was like 50-75 or something like that. In the OSFM rosters, all 3 players' potential ratings are above 96 and they are all already mid-70s. All of them are expected to make the bigs next year and Bryant (their #1 last year) may actually make it this year with his ridiculous stats(.350 with 31 HRs 81 RBI 77 Runs and a .444 OBP).

Bryant is arguably the best pure hitter and Baez has arguably the most raw power of any prospects in baseball. One scout said Addison Russell's ceiling is "Barry Larkin with power." The real Cubs could trade 3x All-Star Starlin Castro because of the potential of these prospects. The trade was nothing short of an insult.
