Pure Analog throwing is way too sensitive. I bumper it all the way to rookie and I still having trouble making routine errors and currently leading the league in errors by a mile.

really, hmm...maybe it only happens when i take control over them after a play is over or something. i'll have to experiment more...thanks for the comment.
I have to check that about throwing decision, but I assume it is on because the only throwing I do is when pitching.

I haven't seen that in manage mode. What mode are you playing?

And I concur with what he said.
I guess you missed the part where I said I'm having zero issues checking my swings. I'm not just BSing the 90% number; once you understand where the check-swing window is, it becomes plain as day when you can check your swing and when you cannot. It's not even inconsistent, let along in need of "fixing." If I had to guess, the window occurs prior to when you guys want it to, and closes before you want it to. Make that timing adjustment and the issue goes away is all I'm saying.

The replay thing, I dunno - do you have "umpire close plays" turned on? It means they can miss calls in general, not just balls and strikes. I have check-swing appeals turned off too, maybe that's part of it.

I have it set so that umpires always make the correct call.

Why are you questioning what he and I have observed on replays? We both see the same thing, called strike on a checked swing that did not go around. Like he said, there is no question about it, clear as day.

agreed. i have since turned meter to off. now i'm wondering if i'll (well technically "they'll") ever make an error. i used the reds, so they're somewhat solid defensively, but still...like you said on rookie still equates to 5+ throwing errors per game for me

All of the above and having Fielding added to practice mode.

Very minor quibble, but I noticed during the post-game while the crew was working on the infield and Matt & Co. were signing off the telecast that the entire crowd were still sitting in their seats watching the game. Not sure if it's possible to make them exit the stadium during the post-game but it looks kind of silly to see an entire stadium of people excitedly watching the grounds crew work on the infield after the the game.

Helmets pop off way to often. Cool detail gone overboard

Don't know if this has been posted but, the "slap swing" animation cannot be changed for Dee Gordon. While he is a "slap hitter" he has a one hand follow through. I can change it and save it, but, in-game, it goes right back. I ended having to create a fake Gordon because it got annoying.

I agree. It seems like any time a player slides they lose their helmet. Doesn't seem to matter if it's head first or feet first. It's like everybody is wearing a helmet 1 size too big.

This one bothers me too, though I can't imagine they'll fix it in a patch.
