Depending on your TV, there's usually a remote code that lets you go into programmer mode. Be warned though, you run the risk of screwing up your TV if you don't know what you're doing.

Having said that, I've definitely noticed a clipping problem with the highlights in this game. Under certain in-game lighting conditions the whites are blown out, no two ways around it. I'm not sure how anyone can say that this is a matter of TV calibration when every other game/movie under the same viewing conditions on the same set does not have this issue.

That was my point earlier, my TV is perfectly calibrated for blu-rays and my ps4.

All PS4 games look wonderful on it including the show for the most part. Having said that though, MLB is the only game I need to adjust settings.

It still however does not fix the dark stadiums like some people are claiming.

It's a known lighting issue that the devs are looking into.

Just google hd TV calibration discs.

Some you can burn to DVD for free, others are discs that you can buy.

Also, some movies come with free calibration sections.

            From HITTERSAURUS-REX at TSN:

Can't share what I don't have.. Final Answer.

1st PS4 1.03 Mandatory Install update arrived May 6th "day 1" for most
            2nd PS4 1.06 Mandatory Install update arrived May 20th

Generalizing that, the Difference of 14 days only shows that SDS is still in the lab ironing, executing, determining what can & what can't be addressed. Again they will release anything to the public on their own terms.

Does anyone have screen shots to post so we can compare?

                Re: A Patch?

I had the initial patch downloaded, but I went to notifications, hit options and deleted it.

Does anyone know how to re-download it if it turns out to be a good patch?

Check your version number. I believe what you did was just delete the notification for the download.

I think it said "ready to install" when I deleted it. But I'm not getting any notification when I load The Show, so maybe it already is installed??

If you select The Show from the ps4 dashboard and then hit the Options button you can select "Update History" to see your current version.

                      The current version is 1.06.

Thank you very much. I'm new to the Playstation format. Former Xbox guy here.

The patch helped the fielders get rid of the ball much quicker. I can tell a huge difference in the field.

I play mostly RTTS. I have a hundred+ games under my belt. I played a dozen games last night and nothing really jumped out at me as different.

I burned the AVS HD 709 disk to a DVDRW. That would be what I would suggest first since it is free.

Here is everything you need. Only outside piece you will need is blue tint calibration glasses.

One question about this. It's the TV that I'm calibrating and not the PS4's options, right?

Reason I ask is because my PC monitor doubles as my gaming "TV", and therefore I don't really need to burn anything to a disc in order to calibrate it.
