Re: MLB 15 The Show: What needs to change in order for you to purchase
I only want a ballpark thing this year. In Toronto, Seattle, Houston, Milwaukee, Miami, and Arizona the option to play with a closed roof. Doesn't have to move during the game. Just an option to chose before the game. If it's not in I ain't buying.Last edited by ARMORALLL; 10-29-2014, 07:09 PM.Comment

True, although that didn't affect earlier releases. 2012 was an April 6 opening day, and if I remember, the show was March 5.1458, not counting playoffs, that's the number of games in a row I haven't missed! Go Yanks!Comment

Things that need to change or be fixed.
Cutscene frame rate issues. Make the cutscenes 60 FPS like the rest of the game, also make sure the game always plays at a smooth 60 FPS at all times.
Long loading times.
Analog fielding makes to many throwing errors ( this has already been addressed in a patch and can be fixed by not using meter throwing but still it would be better to allow us to use meter throwing but make it so the position to move the analog stick that causes a throw go off the line is smaller ) and some better fielding animations.
Better bunting system, currently it's to clunky and slow to pull a bunt back or to try to drop a drag bunt down, it would be better if bunting was more fluid and responsive and that you could control the tilt of your bat or aim your bat to bunt the ball into certain spots.
Things that I would like to see improved or changed.
Better ball physics, it would be cool if when we went into replays if we pretty much always saw the ball come off the bat in a natural way, and stopped seeing clipping glitches or errors for example sometimes in a replay you see a guy swing his bat through a baseball and the baseball goes through, supposedly replays have been compressed so you might get some glitches like this occasionally even though it didn't actually happen in the game.
Some new and better swing follow through animations, some of the swing animations seem like the PS2 ones and aren't very good, it would be nice to get more realistic looking ones, and have different swing types or make it more obvious if a player is doing a power swing vs a normal swing vs a contact swing.
Get rid of some old glitchy PS2 pitching animations, most new pitching animations are good but some of the older ones have had the same issues with the ball morphing out of their hand in a weird way for years.
Better graphics, an improvement like how MLB 08 The Show had compared to MLB 07 The Show had on the PS3, but an improvement for MLB 14 The Show to MLB 15 The Show on the PS4.
Better collision physics when players run into each other on the field, run into walls or run into each other. Also slides to break up double plays should have an attribute dedicated to them and also be based around weight, to determine if a player can flip another player over easily or if he just slides into the guys legs and slightly knocks him off the base.
And some minor game play changes.
Make it so it's harder to hit opposite field home runs.
Make it so if a pitcher throws the ball hard inside and brushes a hitter back he can get some sort of boost ( maybe make his confidence and his pitch selection type get boosted just a bit ) to simulate a pitcher throwing inside intentionally.Last edited by mr9inchesbpel; 11-01-2014, 03:29 PM.Comment

Fielding reaction times need to be toned down considerably. Diving and jumping catches, also catchers springing up from the crouch position at lightning, cartoonish speed have been a problem for years.
Players weight and physics according to their ratings have never really been addressed in this series and I think it's time for that to change.

Re: MLB 15 The Show: What needs to change in order for you to purchase
I like how every so often someone argues that rain delays and double-headers should be implemented. The only way I would like to see that in the game is similar to the pregame workout injuries. Get the message, due to incremental weather the game will be made up tomorrow. I would just get pissed off it I sat down and played a game, and three innings in the ump calls it, and I have to be kicked out of a game and sit through two loading screens before finishing it.
What would I like changed? Pickoffs. I bet, if I really focused on it, I can pick off the CPU once a game. And what's worse is the CPU is totally aware of this. Chris Johnson and Evan Gattis get picked off all the time. And they always get at least one throw over, despite having 3 steals between them through 104 games. SMH. I also would like contracts to be editable.Comment

Fix the weather so no more players automatically wearing long sleeves. Put the Mets White and Blue jerseys and take out the black. Juan Lagares and Wilmer Flores faces need to be redone.Comment
