They say the trade logic is reworked every year and it never is. "The Show has fewer trades than real baseball"? You're joking right? Rtts the last place twins trade Top prospects Miguel Sano and Byron Buxton for a middle aged relief pitcher. Derek Jeter was traded to the padres, Jon Lester straight up for Strasburg even though he was in the last year of his deal!! Giancarlo Stanton straight up for Josh Reddick!! i could go on and on, but there's not enough room. By the end of year 2 most of the teams only have a handful of players left. Players retire way too early and are replaced by generic cartoon looking characters (White guys with pimples and cornrows, Black guys with blonde beards and blonde hair!) All I'm asking for is the option to turn trades off during rtts.. Why is that so difficult?

I wish the entire stadiums were filled with fans like that. Now that would be a party.

I don't think it's the amount of trades that are bad, it's who gets traded for who.

thats exactly the kind of things Im worried, frustrating stupid "little things" that makes the game unplayable in the long run... you cant control the 30 teams to avoid this???

Using 30 team control you can VETO ANY CPU trade. This is with the CPU settings on auto.

Yeah, it helps "block" trades you do not like, or feel are stupid.

No, you do not have do all that for every team. There are separate settings for each aspect of the team management tasks. 30-team control gives you the power to veto CPU teams trades.

If you have never played the game before, why are you worrying about comparisons to past versions? For you this should be a completely fresh experience, and your only point of comparison should be between The Show and 2K.

The main reason is because people, in general, just like to complain.

Secondly, I think some people are a little intimidated when they hear "30-team control", and rightfully so, without knowing it's not a total control deal.

Lastly, the one guy was saying he wants this control in RTTS (road to the show). In my opinion, you shouldn't have that type of control in this mode, because you are strictly playing (no pun intended) the role of a player. Just as in real life, you don't get to make those calls.

Honestly, I have had some whacked out trades go down in my franchise but I just let them be, it is a video game after all and it's something different happening than real life MLB.

But how simple would it be if they could just add an "approve all trades" option in franchise, call it a commissioner's option or something along those lines.

to be fair, 2k presentation and announcers were better than the Show's. Maybe it's just the announcers themselves. I love Matty V but you can have Karros and Lyons! Who's decision was Lyons? Karros and Lyons sound too much alike, they need to keep one of them and add a different personality to the mix
