Re: Question about pitching interfaces
Been using analog but ive found it too easy. Seems like if I make the right input any pitcher can be a beast.
Tried pulse and I couldn't get a ball in the strike zone. Have no idea how people use it the thing goes way too fast for me.
I kind of like meter and it's a stupid complaint but the meter size and colors really bother me. It's like a big rainbow on the middle of my screen. The Red Zone: Indianapolis ColtsSeason 1: 18-1 Super Bowl ChampionsSeason 2: 16-3 AFC ChampionsSeason 3: 16-3 Super Bowl ChampionsMinnesota VikingsSeason 4: Coming soonComment

I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.
I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

Re: Question about pitching interfaces
Analog primarily. Sometimes will switch to Meter or Classic to change things up. Have tried Pulse some since they introduced it. But in order of my usage probably something like:
1)Analog 80%
2)Meter 10%
3)Classic 8%
4)Pulse 2%
I am thinking of trying Classic more this year, and let my pitcher's ratings be more of a determining factor.Comment

I only use classic pitching but I'm thinking of trying pulse.Comment

Re: Question about pitching interfaces
I like rotating between all of them, if you stay with one style of pitching you get to use to it and becomes to easy, if every game you play use a different pitching style then it makes the game alot harder imo.Comment

Re: Question about pitching interfaces
Classic here so I don't overly influence performance of the pitcher. I want the ratings to dictate the effectiveness/performanceComment

Re: Question about pitching interfaces
Classic Pitching/behind the pitcher broadcast view
Timed Hitting/batter view custom camera
Auto fielding/broadcast view
User throwing (button, meter off/ratings driven only)
User default base running (assisted)
All on screen aids are turned off.
Love these those interfaces/options. It gives me the most simulation like results, and the cleanest screen which is of the utmost importance to me.
When I first started playing The Show I used meter and zone hitting. Starting on MLBTS 11 I made a permanent switch to the settings above after playing it on MLBTS 09 (skipped 10) for half a season and loving it.Now Playing on PS5:

Re: Question about pitching interfaces
Question about classic pitching..... I used to use it, but I never felt like I had control of what I was doing. Is it just a button press and that's it? Or is there really a certain way to properly classic pitch?Comment

Re: Question about pitching interfaces
So for a 2 K pitch I want in the dirt, I'll move the pitch down, then hold it there after I've pressed the button and it seems as though the pitch is more likely to miss down in the dirt instead of up over the middle.
You can also hold it longer to give more effort. If you hold it for more than 2 seconds, I think, there is a rumble and that's like going with a full bar on meter/analog pitching.Comment
