What is the properly way to throw a knuckleball? The CPU keeps telling me to throw it down the center, which eventually results in the CPU crushing them once they realize I'm only throwing strikes.

Am I supposed to purposely mistime the meter to get the pitch to curve out of the zone when I aim the pitch down the center?

Does anyone know why the licensed equipment is not on most players? I started a franchise mode and all players are wearing generic equipment. Does it have to do with a roster update applying the licensing?

• Does anyone know if there is player progression/training/regression in season mode?

• I see the CPU doing different slides to avoid the tag. I seem to do either the default head first or leg first slide. Is there a button combination to hit for alternate slides?

Right stick is for slides. Up is head first. Up and right makes runner slide head first and to the right. Up and left is head first and to the left. Down feet first. Down and left is feet first to the left. Down right is feet first to the right.

2. Can you "train" prospects at new positions? If I play my AA 1B at 3B, will it eventually become primary/secondary position?

I hit a batter and then threw some chin music but missed at the next guy and got a warning. Then next pitch I threw at him again and missed but got ejected.

1. I haven't changed sliders but I have changed settings in different modes and I'm assuming it works the same. You need to make 2 profiles in the bottom right corner of the settings page. I called one franchise and one RTTS. Then while in your franchise set the profile you called franchise as the default. Do the same in RTTS.
2. no idea about that sorry.

Is there a particular reason why I'm being sat down every other game for no reason in RTTS? I've been sat in playoff and World Series games for Christ sakes for no other particular reason than maybe rest. I mean I'm the best player in the league.

This happened to me a couple years ago. I spent training points on stamina and it took care of that.

Hey All. Worked up the courage to buy this guy. Been playing MLB 10 for my baseball fix as I think that game is perfect in almost every way. Really liking this years game, but here is my question. Is there a way to slow down gameplay in the field? To really let the animations shine. Pitching and Hitting are perfect I think, but once the ball is hit...its almost like a Family Guy fast fall with how quick some of the reactions and how plays playout....I hope I am making myself clear.

Looked extensively in the sliders and there some sliders to affect speed of hits and players, but not sure if that what I am looking for. I dont want to like lower outfielder speed and still have the hits be rocket fast that it makes it unrealistic? Know what I mean? Or if any out there have tested these things...how would be the best route for me to go?

Is there a way to view the top 50 prospects in RTTS? My player has the icon, but I'd love to know where I rank. Also, is there a glossary of icons a player can have in the lineup screen?

Unfortunately(God I hope they change this in the near future)....there is no one place to see the top 50 prospects nor are they actually numbered 1-50.

Thanks for the reply I just saw this listed in the controls menu. I also found you can call for the pick off when playing short stop its says R2+Icon? going to try and figure it out!

On the screen where you select your uniforms, slide your controller to the CPU team, select the uniform, hit the back button, and select your team/uniform.
