Re: MLB 15 : Road to the Show Thread
Change your camera. I use either a custom catcher so that its down a little and offset. Can see the path of the ball better. Another I have dabbled with is the up close camera, almost a first person where the strike zone almost takes up the screen.
Experiment with cameras. It helped me just changing it up.Make #FranchiseNation great again!

Re: MLB 15 : Road to the Show Thread
What does it take to get called up from AA? Currently have a OVR of 65 with a AOVR of 73. AAA players have OVR of 63 and 57.
Leading the league in BA 2B RBI. Second in league in H and HR.
Its the last week of May.
Figured if I hit an OVR of 63 or close I'd get the call. I was a first round draft pick.
Any thoughts? Ask to be traded?Last edited by YeOldTonk; 04-07-2015, 04:07 PM.Make #FranchiseNation great again!

I didn't get called up to AAA until almost July and only then because of an injury. I was a first round pick and led the league in many categories.Comment

Re: MLB 15 : Road to the Show Thread
I made a Utility 3B named Jumbo Slugger. I did fairly well for my caliber, and was drafted 3rd overall by the Rangers. It did not take long to get called up, only two games in fact. First game I went 1 for 5 with nothing special, and the second game I went 4 for 5 with one RBI. I thought it was pretty dumb that I got called up, but I did make two superb diving plays in the second game that could've possibly helped my cause.
Later, I will provide an update, probably tonight, showing the sweet gear that I have for him. I think it looks a little insane, but I only made this guy for fun. He is not my serious player, but he has been my best and favorite along with my SP Stan The ManLast edited by bryceisdabest; 04-07-2015, 05:15 PM.Comment

Re: MLB 15 : Road to the Show Thread
I was going to be cool and put this on my YT channel but I seriously play too many games for that to happen. Finished a season in about 4 days.
Notes from my first season:
- Originally drafted at #8 in the 3rd round by the Phillies (my favorite club) but I didn't like my performance at school so I returned. Got a little better and went #4 in the 1st round to the Twins.
- I had to go on the 15 day DL only 3 games into my career. Being a noob, I went into the interaction screen and accidentally pressed that I wanted to be traded. Thought it was going to ask me a yes or no question but now I know.
- 11 games after returning from the DL, I'm on fire. I'm so very close to being called up to AAA ball when I get traded to the Boston Red Sox, playing for the Sea Dogs. The Yankees are my "other" team so I'm a little sick to my stomach at this point but I stick it out.
- I run through the IL with little problem and get called up to AAA right before All Star break. I get invited to the All Star Futures game and only get to pinch hit (F7). I guess its the thought that counts.
- AAA ball brings me back to Earth but I show just enough to earn a September call up! First AB, first hit. Next AB, first RBI. I'm super geek'd at this point but I evened out for the rest of the series. Since I got called up after Aug 31st I couldn't be added to the 25 man playoff roster. Its all good though because I'm entering the spring projected to make the team!
I'm hyped for this next season. And I'm sorry if I left something out but I'm seriously trying to get back to the game - just need to tell someone about this season haha.#WashedGamerComment

Re: MLB 15 : Road to the Show Thread
That's awesome. I think I just had a career high 45 or in my last season! My walk totals have gone up each season, played 5 seasons, so I'm getting better.

Re: MLB 15 : Road to the Show Thread
I made a left-handed starting pitcher named Wolverine Slaughter. He's a 6'6" 225 pound power pitcher from the Netherlands. 99 MPH 4 seamer, 91 MPH slider, 87 MPH change. Dominated the prospect showcase and got drafted #3 overall by the Texas Rangers. Absolutely crushed AA, played very well in AAA and was called up to the big team just now after the 2015 All-Star game and am slotted in as the fifth starter. I guess the Rangers pitching is so bad after Darvish that it made it pretty easy to move up.Comment

Re: MLB 15 : Road to the Show Thread
Hello all.
I have a few questions about RTTS mode
1. I play 2B and I use Result Fielding so I can see every out when playing defense. I rarely X through cut-scenes and walk-ups as I enjoy the full flow of the game. But this year I have to press X for every opponent batter.
Is there a setting which allows me to watch the out (or the hit), the animations following the out and then the new batter walking up to the plate without having that damn sim screen show up every time and having to X it?
2. Is there any way to see the batting order? To see who's on deck and all that? It was last year, but I can't find it this year.
3. When batting with runners on, how can I see their speed and steal ratings? for 1st and 3rd there are the runner windows, but for a runner on 2nd? Again, last year I could just hit one button and all these information would have been available, but this year I'm lost in the menus.
Thanks. Please excuse my English. I'm not a native English speaker.Comment

MLB 15 : Road to the Show Thread
I'm going to try a different approach in this years game. I'm going to create a guy in my franchise and place him in either A or AA, play the first season as a normal franchise mode. Then I'm going to take over that guy through player lock and treat the next several years and an informal RTTS. I really just want to see how a player would develop if he was controlled like RTTS but with Franchise modes progression system.

Re: MLB 15 : Road to the Show Thread
Anyone been traded more than once in a season? I got called up from AA in the first season the day after the AA allstar game. I spent 9 days in San Diego before they shipped me to Atlanta. I thought ok cool, I didn't ask for a trade but ok. 3 weeks later ATL trades me to the Dodgers. The deadline has since passed so I'll at least finish the season here. Anyone else have this happen without requesting trades?Comment
