Thanks. That's kind of a bummer, I also just bought a PS4 and don't really want to spend an extra $20 or so just to port over my franchise. Not to mention this really negatively affects my ability to work on the OSFM set.

GM goals are turned if if you use 30 team control.

That's OK, it's not a huge deal. I'm playing as the Mets, and if I recall the goals correctly, I'm pretty sure I'm going to hit both year and contract goals in year one anyway.

i have my ps4 mlb the show saves on the psn cloud and on a usb stick. i just upgraded my hard drive and dont have the show 14 for ps4 anymore. it will not let me download the saves from the cloud because 14 is not installed. when playing the game while it was installing the commentator said you could continue the save off of usb. when i go to road to show it doesn't find the save. am i screwed or is there something im missing?

but I want to get this right.

I presently have several franchises and RTTS's in my MLB 14 PS 3 cloud. I need to:

1. Get a hold of a PS4 copy of MLB 14.
2. The PS4 copy of MLB14 will let me download my Franchise and RTTS PS3 Cloud files.
3. I then need to save those PS 3 files in MLB14 game on my PS4.
4. Then my PS4 MLB15 game will let me bring new MLB14 files over.

Correct???

Yes that is correct. I verified this with Russell a few pages back. It sinks but it is what it is I guess. I may try and get someone i know to let me borrow the game for a day to port everything. Sure do wish Blockbuster was still around, haha ... there is just no place to rent games anymore

One idea is to go to GameFly- do the 30 day trial and have them send you the MLB 14 PS4 version. I tried Redbox where I live but they no longer carry 14 but only 15. Anyway, Gamefly will send it free - you can use it, send it back and cancel your free trial. Just depends how important porting this over is.
I have to admit I listened to the Twitch video again and I still didn't get it. Could have been clearer.

How long does it typically take to get a game from GameFly? I guess I could try this out.

So how does a Vita save work into this whole PS3 v. PS4 issue? I never had a PS3 and played The Show 14 on my Vita. I just bought a PS4, and The Show 15 for both PS4 and Vita. Will I be able to transfer my 14 save to 15 on my Vita, then from the Vita to my PS4?

It depends on availability. If the game is available it takes 2-4 days depending on the mail service. I used them several years ago and the turn around on games was actually pretty good. I stopped because I couldn't justify the cost based on the very limited play time I had to play.

I'm not 100% positive, but I think it would be this.

1) Save your '14 file on the Vita
2) Load '15 on the Vita use the load a '14 save option, this will convert it to a '15 file
3) Upload your newly created '15 file to the cloud
4) On your PS4 load a save from the cloud and it should transfer it over

I would assume that you'd be able to.

Thank you! I just got the games and didn't even get a chance to try either one out yet. I just got nervous when I saw the issues with getting a prior save transferred without a PS4 14 save available. I will post after I try this, so anyone else with the same issue will know for sure. Thanks again!
