Re: MLB 15 Franchise Progress Thread

Started an Indians franchise, traded for Ryan Zimmerman and Jansen, Simed through the season since I'm not too interested until the OS rosters are out and the tribe won the AL winning 95 games. Kluber went 21-2 with a 1.76 ERA and Lindor won ROY

Playing the playoff games though and Houston won the WC game so I'm playing them first round.

I did the mistake of starting a franchise with the Astros … I'm starting to love it and getting involved in it

My plan is to play my ''real'' franchise with the Cubs as soon as OSFM drops.

It's going to be rough to let my astros down haha

Starting a Diamondbacks and Rangers Franchise. Neither team has any A prospects outside of the ones that are on the 40 man roster/notable Minor leaguers (like Profar).

I do wish it had more goals, like a focus on making money (with a goal of trading away this overpaid player) or focus on player development (and a goal of acquiring either one A prospect or a player with this overall)

Re: MLB 15 Franchise Progress Thread

Well its that time again... I continued my Braves year 1 franchise. I finished all 162 games, 85-77, 2nd place in the East. No playoffs. Matter of fact the Dodgers won the World Series. They were a WC team at 92-71. So I decided to start off my 15' The Show in the off season.

Manager Fredi G. and Farm Director contracts expired, so I went a new direction. I promoted Terry Pendleton to Manager 4 yr/7.4M, Spd -3, Reac -3, Dr Bntg +1 & BB/9 +1. I actually saving money Fredi was asking for $3M per.
            New 3B Coach Panozzo, 4 yr/4M, Fldg +1, Arm Str +1, Dur +1 & Reac +2. New 1B Coach Shea at 38 yrs old, 4 yr/5.3M, Fldg -1, Spd +2, Stl +2 & Blkg +2. New Farm Director Hidalgo: Velo+2, Ptchg Clutch +2, Plt Dscp +1 & Stl -1.

Looking forward to a new direction. The game gave me a yearly goal of winning the division and reach Postseason as the contract goal.

Gonna be doing a "Fantasy Season" that'll be live streamed with real commentary by me (I'm actual professional), problem is I don't know if it will be able to reach out to you guys since I can't post info about it anywhere besides in threads here or on my twitter. Just getting the word out on it, thanks for the time.

              Here's the info.

              Location
My hitbox channel...I can't even post a link. *sigh* it's hitbox . tv and search SeanTheShow I guess.
(Yeah I know not twitch, I personally like Hitbox better and has less trolls)

Draft will be Monday 4/6/2015 at 12 pm EST

First Live Game will be Tuesday with another Wednesday and Friday.
From there we will most likely go to a 2-3 times a week. So one week it'll be Monday,Wednesday,Friday and another will be Tuesday/Thursday.

Times will vary, I'd say the first game will be Tuesday at Noon EST and Wednesday probably will be the same. Friday we'll determine the time based on how we do the first couple of streams. Thanks again for reading and we'll see you on Monday.

I'll be starting my Pirates franchise tonight. I was going to go with a Rangers franchise (as I have always done in the past -- home team), but I wanted to experience the NL atmosphere this time around.

I am going to pick a bad team and roll with it or do a fantasy draft. Not sure I want to wait for OSFM rosters before I started a franchise. Rosters are amazing, but I just want to get going.

I transferred my 14 Cubs franchise and will play this one out till osfm drop. So Far I've lost 4 in a row since playing on 15. 6.5 ahead of St.louis on July 27. 15 looks so much better than 14.

Re: MLB 15 Franchise Progress Thread

I plan to start mine with the Cubs as soon as a decent roster drops(if anybody has seen anything please let me know. Doesn't have to be OSFM, just wouldn't mind having the majority of prospects without rating adjustments and stuff).

I plan to play several games in spring training to get a feel for each of the players as there are several positions up for grabs. Left field, and the pitching rotation are the main areas of concern. Kris Bryant will more than likely start the season at 3rd base, although I may give him some looks in left field as one of my obvious needs will be to try to acquire a left fielder if Kris Bryant can't man the position. Junior Lake is more of a utility outfielder than an everyday starter in my eyes and I don't believe Albert Almora is ready for the big leagues as of yet either. 3rd base could be a really nice spot for Addison Russell if he could continue to develop and develop some power to go with the position as well.

I also will look to upgrade my pitching rotation a bit, as I expect Kyle Hendricks to take a step back and eventually be send down to AAA for more work. I will target a #3 or #4 caliber starter to replace him(depending on how well I pitch with Edwin Jackson in spring training). Edwin Jackson & Kyle Hendricks will fight for the #5 spot in the rotation with Lester,Arreita, Wood, & Hammel in the other spots.

Im excited to get started as soon as I can find a decent roster.

There is a Top 150 Prospects in the vault.. Not sure how it is. I was going to go with the opening day live roster and roll. doesn't matter to me either about OSFM

Began with the Mets. 10 games into the season, i am 3-7. Lost 3 games in extra-innings. 2 in a row afainst the Nats. Were down 2 in the 9th against the Phillies and won. It makes so much fun.

I'm 11th in BB, thats hard to do, but you have to be patient. Hit 11 Homeruns, Wright leads the team with 3 followed by Duda, Cuddyer and Granderson with 2.

Need to score more runs, my pitching is decent tho.

Realistic, But it's early on. IMO Dilson Herrera is a good guy to move to short and let Flores spell Wright to keep him fresh. Herrera would need to play short in AA tho.

continued my 2014 franchise I'm currently down 2-1 in the 2015 NLCS vs the Pirates. Their bats have gotten the best of Kershaw and Ryu while Grienke led the team to a game 2 win. gonna be a tough series

Decided to start an AL franchise to set my difficulty/sliders right before eventually starting my Mets franchise.

Tampa Rays were the winners. Solid young rotation, in the AL East to play games against the Yankees, Red Sox, Orioles, and Jays.

Who knows, maybe I enjoy using them and I end up completing the whole 162 game grind with them.

Starting off 2-0 vs. the Orioles.
