I went ahead and started without waiting. For one, will be towards the end of May or early June in my season by the time OFSM is out. And that's me playing 13 games per month rotating to pitch with everyone either 2 or 3 times per month.

Second, I don't really need it to have fun.

This is what I have. Now I'm no avid baseball fan so don't know even the top 10 let alone 150 prospects. I know Fransisco Lindor, Kris Bryant, and Addison Russell and that's it lol. So for someone like me this roster is great!

Just finished my first game with the Dodgers and threw a 3-hit, 10K shutout with Clayton Kershaw to win 1-0. The MVP also drove in my lone run of the day! Sound familiar?

Another awesome note, when I returned to the Franchise menu and advanced the day ahead, I listened to the Radio Show and heard that Matt Harvey tossed a No-Hitter! Pretty awesome!

I have no idea how you guys can wait for OSFM rosters.I will use them for other franchise once they are out. This website with all of the hard work the users do, makes a great game even better.I just want to play ASAP and cannot wait. So thanks to those that create rosters etc I am thankful of your hard work. Sorry for going off topic there but thanks again for those that create stuff for this game.

I am running a franchise with my hometown Astros and just swept the Indians 6-4 6-0 7-0. I have hit 7 homeruns so far and for those that do not know the Astros are 2nd in power in Show 15 so they hit a lot of longballs. Next is the rangers so I doubt I can sweep them. I am not using any sliders and just using dynamic diff on both pitching and hitting. The astros are going to be fun to play with this year, and will update with more detailed post etc when I have played more games.

I'm doing a franchise with the Indians and won that series 2-1. Jed Lowrie killed me all series. I shut down Carter and Springer, however.

Cincinnati Reds - Fantasy Draft - End of April 2016

Things did not start well. 0-4 before our first win. 1-8 before our 2nd. 2-10 heading into a 4 game series at home vs the Cubs. And then started to turn around. 1st game of the series Lester gives up 4 hits in 8 innings before Moss hits a walk off sac fly. 2nd game Chris Bassit makes his first start of the year and goes 7 inning giving up just 1 run. And then Moss hits a walk off 2 run homer. We split the last 2 games of the series. Lost 2 of 3 to Pittsburgh and then headed to Chicago to face the Cubs again. Top 3 starters went in and pitched us to a 3 game sweep. We then won the last two games of the month vs St Louis.

Stephen Pryor took a liner to the head. Gonna miss the rest of the year. Paul Maholm Separated his shoulder. Should be back by the all star break at the latest.

No one doing all that great on offense. Rich Rosado leads the team in AVG at .271. Coco Crisp has probably been the best hitter. 2nd on the team with a .268 AVG, 2nd with 4 HR. And 3rd with 8 RBI to go along with his 8 stolen bases. Julio Teheran has been the best starter. 3-2 with a 3.10 ERA. Greg Holland hasnt given up a run in 8.1 innings. He is perfect in save opportunities with 7.

Down in AAA Khris Davis is tied for 3rd in HRs with 6. Jake Lamb is hitting .333 OVR and .458 against LHP. Both could see some play time with Crisp being the only player capable of playing in the outfield hitting over .240. And Pablo Sandoval hitting just .177 at 3rd.

Chris Johnson 3B for the Yankees was suspended today (May 1st) for PEDs. He will miss 80 games.

Why are my position players already asking for a day off 6 games into the season? Not to mention, they've already had one day off in the middle of the week as no games were scheduled.

Re: MLB 15 Franchise Progress Thread

Ok I was thinking earlier at work about how I always say I'm going to play with a NL team for franchise mode but never do.

Well I was thinking I could do what I see some doing, and play with two teams, one from each league. So what I'm going to start doing is playing with the Cubs as well. Since I am only mid April my idea is to play my 13 games per month still and alternate playing with the two teams each month. So in April I'm going to play only Indians games. In May I will switch and play with the Cubs only and so forth. Once August hits if say the Cubs are way out of playoff contention I will solely play with the Indians. If BOTH teams are in playoff contention by September I will be playing 13 games for each team that last month, and into October.

In the meantime I will handle both teams lineups, rotations, and roster moves. Currently I am 7-4 with the Indians and the Cubs are 5-7. I just moved both, Kris Bryant and Addison Russell up to the majors with Chicago and set lineups. Will be curious to see how they are doing in May when I start playing with them.

I also just brought up Francisco Lindor for the Indians. Aviles is out until early May so he's needed and this is a good time to see what he can do. If he does well I have a tough decision to send him back down or Jose Ramirez.

Edit: simmed next Cubs game and Kris Bryant goes 2 for 4, with a homerun and a triple. Cubs are now 6-7 with the 5-4 win over the Pirates on the road. Next game for me is Indians (7-4) @ White Sox (6-5). Carlos Carrasco and Samardzija pitching.

Yeah, that's what Ive been doing.

Still kind of annoying seeing them at half energy levels already.

I'm 11th in BB, thats hard to do, but you have to be patient. Hit 11 Homeruns, Wright leads the team with 3 followed by Duda, Cuddyer and Granderson with 2.

Reynolds is an option too. As for now stay with Flores and Tejada. Flores is hitting .048 though. Too early. Cuddyer is lights out. Hitting over .400!

For major league at bat for Francisco Lindor and he hits a solo homerun off Jeff Samardzija batting ninth! His power is rated at a 31 so I was shocked lol. But wow that was pretty awesome!

I forgot to mention Reynolds, I meant to say he would be a good option at short while Herrera develops at short in the minors, Flores to me is better suited as a backup 3B because there's no more important position then the guy who can give your most valuable player a day off here and there. And of course if Reynolds just rakes then move Herrera back to second, in realistic standards most shortstops can play second base so there shouldn't be any discomfort...if there was a thing in the game like a confidence attribute. From there you have options as far as the veteran pitchers and murphy. It's all preference based but just saying what I would do. (Patiently waiting for the OSFM)

Guys, what is the best roster out right now at this early point for franchise mode?

And of course if Reynolds just rakes then move Herrera back to second, in realistic standards most shortstops can play second base so there shouldn't be any discomfort...if there was a thing in the game like a confidence attribute. From there you have options as far as the veteran pitchers and murphy. It's all preference based but just saying what I would do. (Patiently waiting for the OSFM)
Also Flores is a better option at 3B if Wright were to go down. I like Campbell alot but the great thing about him is he can play anywhere off the bench, where he belongs. (sorry soup)
