Now that you played both 14 and 15, was it worth it?

Hi if anyone can shed some information on this. I would greatly appreciate it. I own MLB 14 and can't seem to pull the trigger on buying 15. I just need some insight from a few here stating it really is worth it to do, or just continue to play 14 for another year?

Maybe its just better to wait a couple of months for a sale price. Again any information would be appreciated.

    Thank You

15 is worth it for the new lighting engine alone, imo, but that's just me being a lighting whore. ymmv.

Definitely....even without the patch for 15 yet......an improved and more enjoyable game.

Stop looking at the computer screen or whatever your device is that you're using and get your butt to the store and get 15.

Speaking of the patch Knight...do you think that the updates will apply to a franchise started tonight after the drop of OSFM? They usually do right?

                    No trouble.....

Hits look much better.....and so are the physics of them as well.
Fielding and fielding animations as well.
Last year almost all the tough grounders were the same animation for the most part....but they are much improved this go around.

Pitching feels so much better this year to me.
I usually play manage mode....but also use player lock on a pitcher to play some .I'm feeling it much more this year.

                    Just a few.

The new lightning graphics are simply outstanding and the new player game play animations are also the bomb. But there are some areas of the game which worked perfectly fine in MLB 14 and are all bugged out this year. No regression testing? or they ignored the results of the regression tests? Oh and something really needs to be done about all the CPU suicide squeeze attempts. It's cool that the squeezes can occur. But they are happening far too frequently. It is simply not realistic.

Definitely. It's a major upgrade in my opinion. Especially if you're a Diamond dynasty fan.

                            It's an impressive upgrade.

So many little things...and I keep seeing, feeling and experiencing something new each and every game.

The new lighting, tons of amazing new fielding animations, incredible new ball spins and breaks with pitching, the new fielding controls are amazing and have made fielding in this game feel great for the first time IMO.

But the real breakthrough for me besides all of the amazing gameplay improvements to how the game looks, feels and behaves is the online component.

It has opened a pandora's box of modes and a new way to enjoy the greatest sports game on the planet.

A truly extraordinary game this year and well worth the upgrade. The game has not left my PS4 since 3/31 and will not for a very very long time.

                            It's really incredible.
