Trout doesn't regress in every season as in mine he's improved in Contact vs R and in power. At least that is what is happening thus far as we are in mid MayI can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.
I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

Could be all those double plays he's hitting into, like you mentioned. Speed going down, maybe because he hasn't been able to beat those out and is likely hitting right at the IFs in those situations, which would result in a loss in confidence (condition).
But obviously it hasn't been too painful if he's hitting .350 anyway. So you could rationalize it however you want, but the system seems to be working fine if it isn't over-correcting highs and lows and if he's still hitting that well, despite the regression in other areas that could affect his other stats, if the trends continue.Comment

There are a few possible culprits for that HUGE loss.....
(hint...it's not regression)

Now that is supposed to make sense to me? Well, I hate to tell you this, but your post including that preconceived notion makes no sense to me at all.Comment

(that's your preconceived notion that you've already railed against)
What are the factors that can cause a player to lose/gain points in season?

What is the reason you've already concluded that Trout(or any player) loses/gains points 2-3-4-8...however many games in?

I'm not interested in playing Guess Pitch. If you think you have the ANSWER, say it. You are entitled to your opinion, fear no reprisal.
Trout lost points after two regular season games, at least that is when I noticed it, might have been after one game.
In season? I said earlier I saw this after two games. I also said he did not face a LHP. He lost power against both LHP and RHP along with speed. All of this was noticed by me after two games, total of three points lost.
Perhaps I should add that editing Trout, as someone here had suggested, looked good at the time, but without playing a game and going to next day he lost the same points as before, total of three.Last edited by Cavicchi; 04-17-2015, 09:04 AM.Comment

The graphics and lighting were a big appeal for me. Playing a game in Colorado yesterday, I was amazed at how the shadows changed over the course of the game. It really adds a lot to the presentation.
I also like that fielding is harder. Playing the outfield is no gimme anymore, and in heavy wind conditions, you really have to anticipate where the ball is going to be.
I like directional hitting much more than I expected. I had always been a PCI batter, but I love using directional with analog this year.
While I do miss the ease of accessing the pitcher-batter matchup info, I like how the D-pad has been mapped, and I also am very happy that they tweaked presentation in Fast Play so that you get some essential info such as batter stats. It feels less like playing Broadcast where things get cut off.
I am only a few games into Franchise, but so far it also seems more active and lively than years past.
There's a lot that is the same, but what they did change I like. Plus I feel like supporting a team that really strives to put out one of the best sports games every year.Comment

I've never bought a Show that wasn't worth it.
I think I've done the math before & it works out to less than 18 cents a day for a years use of the Show.T-BONE.
