    1) Please revamp the presentation. Perhaps it would be cool to have maybe a home and away team or maybe just a regular season and post season presentation. Kind of make them feel like a separate entity.

    2) Make the franchise mode deeper, more accurate contracts, better stat tracking.

    3) I would love to see players in franchise mode to maybe make requests about trades, playing time, maybe players from other teams would prefer to come to your team. Not just have good players request stupid money and bad ones not care in the least. Make the game feel more real life then scripted.

      - Need fast motion relays with creative camera angles. The slow motion replays kill the momentum of a big moment.
      - Need an option to choose the music or turn off the post out music. There are not enough default songs to cover 27 outs without getting very repetitive.
      - New player models. The 'pregnant' look for bigger players looks odd.

        -Improved frame-rate
-As others have stated, better in-game stat reporting such as BA with RISP, BA with 2 strikes counts, BA or pitcher stats all vs a particular player, etc.
-Touchpad providing detailed information like in 14.

I'd rather them do away with the throw backs that are never worn & focus on the alternates that are worn. Then add some alternates that minor league teams wear frequently. Not the promo jerseys that teams wear once but alternates that are in a regular jerseys that the minor league team in my hometown wear.

1: I have always wanted the ability to manually retire numbers in my franchise.

              2: Trade for cash considerations

3: Improve trade block logic. I've seen way too many big stars go right to the trade block early in the season this year. I included legends one time, and almost every single legend went straight to the trade block.

                1. New pbp man! You've done a great job with Matt for the 10 years, but you've tapped him out. I have to be honest, he just doesn't have "the voice" for a video game. What I mean by that is he's amazing in real life, but he doesn't have the "acting voice," which means he can't get into it for some reason like he does in an actual game. If you listen to Jon Miller in his video games, he sounds just the same as he does in real broadcasts.
                2. A more story like rtts.
                3. Rainouts and doubleheaders. you

                  Re: MLB 16 Ideas!

Ok, here are the real *needs* for next years game, not just stupid little requests...

                  - Custom music needs to make a return. That **** was awesome.

                  - More equipment. Keep it coming. This year was a huge leap forward. Keep adding more...and real ad's in the stadiums would be pretty sick....and it would probably line the SCEA pockets with a little cash as well.

                  - Call Balks as the standard during on-line play. I hate playing against people who never pause at all. It drives me nuts.

                  Franchise:

                  1. Stat tracking. It needs a total overhaul. Baseball....obsessed with numbers....I'm sure you've heard this before. We need advanced stats, year to year, long term data storage. It just needs to be in there. Can't stress this enough.

                  2. A real trophy case. NCAA Football was good at this. Give me a place to put all the awards I have won. This goes for RTTS as well.

I am sure there are more...but I can't think of any right now.

But these are a good list to start with.

The biggest one is the stats.

                    1. As many different kind of stats as possible.

                    2. Contract extensions mid season.

                    3. Universal slim sliders.

                        Re: MLB 16 Ideas!

Most people have mentioned the franchise contract/trade as well as stat tracking suggestions so I have something a little different. While the gameplay is very solid there are a few features/improvements I'd love to have.

                        1. Bunting needs a major overhaul. The success rate for sac bunts as well as bunts for hits should be looked at and aligned with MLB averages as the rest of the game is. A slider for bunt success and bunt frequency would be a great thing to have. My thread discussing the issues with bunting and some feedback: http://www.operationsports.com/forum...hing-else.html The way it is now most notably with pitchers there is little difference between a guy with a 0 bunt rating and a 60. You can lay down sac bunts to advance the runner just about every time even with a guy with a 0 bunt rating. The 1.02 patch notes said bunting was looked at but most of us do not see much difference.

                        2. I would like to see Hitters and Pitchers and Fielders more personalized in terms of gameplay.

For pitchers the biggest oversight and major issue that affects gameplay is the lack of a usage rating for each pitch. In real life some guys are 2 pitch pitchers and use those two 90% of the time. Other guys have different distributions of their secondary pitches but in The Show every pitcher has the same distribution. We have access to pitchFX data so if we had a usage rating for each pitch we would be able to make every pitcher unique and pitch exactly as they do IRL. We have guys dedicated in the community who make pitch edits every year to give us accurate repertoires and pitch speeds, I have no doubt we would get accurate distribution for every pitcher if we had this ability. This would make the biggest difference in gameplay and I really hope it is considered!!

**While on this note I wished we didn't need to do the pitch edits we do and that SCEA would use the pitchFX data to set the default rosters. There is no reason why pitch speeds or choices should be wrong when the data is widely available. There are too many instances of pitchers with the wrong pitches and wrong speeds, especially when it comes to fastball/changeup speed difference!

http://www.fangraphs.com and http://www.brooksbaseball.net both have the PitchFX data, most people seem to prefer Brooks but fangraphs is more readable.

                        ---

For hitters I would like a swing speed rating for each player. This would really impove the pitcher/hitter battles. In real life some guys are known to have slower bats. As guys age their bat slows down, the bat speed rating should fall as appropriate. It would be awesome if we could challenge them with fastballs if we know they have a slower bat. Last night on Sunday Night Baseball the subway series was on and the commentators mentioned how the way to pitch A-Rod was to pitch him inside and jam him with fastballs that his bat couldn't catch up to. I want to see that in The Show! As well as the CPU pitcher using the same logic when appropriate.

                        ---

I would like to see catcher framing as well as catcher game calling ratings. It would have to be more subjective and hard to rate but I think it could be done. Maybe not a 1-100 scale but how about 1-5? Most guys could sit at 3 but if a guy is known as being great at framing pitches or calling pitches they could get a 5 rating.

The way I see it working is that the PCI placement and pitch called in the count situation would be less than optimal at a greater percent the lower on the scale you go. For example at 1 maybe call optimal pitches 50% of the time. At 5 call optimal pitches 90%. What I mean by optimal is calling pitches in a batters cold zone or hot zone. In general I would like to see improvements to the catcher game calling logic with this feature built on top of that.

And lastly with catchers I feel they all have the same fielding ability despite what their rating is. This should have a bigger impact and they should react different based on reaction and fielding ability. There is not much of a difference between elite and average.

It's a cool feature this year having the fielders take less than optimal routes and I'd like to see that continued and tweaked.

                        3. With the addition of Year to Year saves, the integrity of the franchise mode 10+ years down the road needs to be looked at. With this years game when you get that far into the future pitcher becomes dominate. The player progression is very broken. This thread highlights the biggest problems: http://www.operationsports.com/forum...franchise.html Having year to year saves is a great feature but what is the point if the league is so unrealistic into the future?

                            Re: MLB 16 Ideas!

I think I'm echoing several other posts on here. My top 3 are:

                            1) Uniforms: it's probably time for an overhaul. Correct the inaccuracies, add a few more uni slots and get rid of the throwbacks that no-one ever uses (i.e. Cubs plain white, plain gray, etc.). At the very least, the basic home, road and alternate uniforms should be 100% accurate next year. I know the Twins have a terrible ball club in real life, so maybe they are not top-of-mind for most players, but the uniform errors for the team in The Show make them unusable in Franchise mode, and to some extent anytime you play them in the AL Central. I will say, there are a lot of "Uniform Nuts" out there, myself included, who would really like to see a refresh and accuracy check before the '16 game launches. Some teams have amazingly accurate uniforms - Giants, Royals, etc. So I would like to see this level of detail implemented across more teams.

                            2) Stats: would love to see more year-by-year statistics shown in Franchise mode. Also, the in-game quick stat overlay from '14 went away for some reason, which several of you have commented on. This was a great feature as it showed important game statistics like a pitcher's Ks, walks, hits given up, etc, without having to pause the game and go into the box score. Let's bring that back. I know there is a huge appetite for more stat tracking in Franchise mode, which would really add to the strategy and immersion for us Franchise-goers.

                            3) Continued Gameplay Improvements: MLBTS 15 took a huge step forward in gameplay this year and I would like to see that continue in future iterations. New animations, cut-scenes, etc., are always a welcome touch.

                              1. I almost said this one for all three ideas but...Stats! Stats! Stats!!

                              2. Make injuries occur realistically. I don't want half my minor league system injured just because I simulated their games. Maybe their durability is way too low Idk? And there are rarely any injuries in games. Typically only see injuries when I simulate. Just need to be realistic amount and occurence...on average in the MLB (25 man roster alone), there are about 3-4 guys who get hurt in some type of way every day across the league.

                              3. MANGERS NEED TO MATTER MORE! So many times we see irl how much a manger makes a difference. I'd like to see managers with different tendencies for in game strategy, and pitching rotations/lineups. For instance, the Royals manager's style is to get on base, steal bases and play small ball. Joe Madden is having the pitcher bat 8th with the Cubs this year. They need to matter more. I know they do some, but it needs to be more and WAY more in depth on how they do. Right now every team's manager has the same strategies each and every game. Doesn't seem like it matters who is managing each team. 3B and 1B, and pitching coaches should matter more as well.

                                1. A RTTS that doesn't feature a linear progression system, where becoming a 99 OVR player isn't just a function of time. Most major leaguers don't become superstars in their careers, progression should be more dynamic and should not enable you to become Mike Trout or Kershaw by default. This could be an option, realistic vs. arcade, when entering RTTS. There is a large counter-culture in gaming right now that embraces a challenge, ala Dark Souls and Bloodborne. For example, your players skills should degenerate at a higher rate when on the realistic setting. Also, equipment rating boosts would be disabled in the realistic mode.

                                2. Slider customization in franchise mode that lets you control the frequency of trades, injuries, caliber of draft class, etc. Similar to what 2K has done.

                                3. Modified generated player faces, similar to what 2K has, where facial features are more customizable than what they currently are. Generated players lack a lot of detail when compared to photographed major leaguers, and often have ridiculous features such as fu-man-chu's.
