    1. Create a stadium with enough options, (astro turf, columns etc) to really sink our teeth into it.
    2. Turn off retired numbers.
    3. Customizable leagues divisions, schedules etc.

He stayed gold though. I wordering if players fall or rise different levels based on performance? Diamond to Gold, Silver to bronze, etc. I havent followed DD since day 1 but I have the last 10 days or so. Market values seem to be based on card level. New players in the market added via roster update seem to regulate after 48 hours.
I dont remember there names but they were allot of fun....

        Re: MLB 16 Ideas!

I waited while I kicked around the 3 most important "additions" I would like to see for '16. Mine are all franchise based.

        1) COMPUTER UTILIZE ITS ROSTER -- I want to see the cpu use his roster to its fullest extent. Call up and send down players based on stats/performance/standings (team out of playoff race use youngsters to gauge their true potential). I think one of the reasons we see questionable trades and roster management is because the cpu will fill a need with a trade before they will fill a need with a minor league player. Example: Lets say that the Cubs are not getting any production out of 3B and its mid-May. Instead of going out and giving up players to get, lets say Evan Longoria, they go to Kris Bryant first or someone else to see if that works, especially given that Bryant is a high profile prospect. I don't think the cpu takes into account enough the talent/potential of its farm system.

        2) LETS GET SOME PERSONALITY IN FRANCHISE -- I want to see what NBA 2k does in its franchise, I want to see players have individual personality, needs, expectations. I want a player to get frustrated being a role player and want traded to go somewhere he has a chance to play everyday. I want to see players choose where they signed based on their needs/wants and choose from several "options" like, but no limited too... Money, chance to win title, play everyday, certain manager, certain city, etc... I want to know when I go to free agency that I don't have a chance to get lets say Mike Trout, because he wants big time money or he wants to play in a big market.

        3) LETS MAKE THE MANAGERS MORE THAN A NAME -- I hate how managers are utilized in this game. There really is no difference between a Joe Maddon and a Joe Girardi. Instead of the ratings effect, lets give the managers a personality along with actual input on the game. Lets have managers that love to run, believe in the long ball, hit a pitcher 8th, want contact hitters, is a gambler, plays the percentages, sticks to the "rules" of baseball, etc....And lets give coaches and impact as well. Lets have pitching coaches help young pitchers develop existing pitches and new pitches. Hitting coaches that help hitters get better at recognizing pitches, hit for power, etc...I know this is somewhat implemented, but in my opinion its a weakness in the game.
I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

Could we perhaps see slides where the players comes off the bag and the defender keeps the tag on the player while he does that?

I also want to be given the opportunity to choose which high school/college or state that you came from for RTTS. Having the commentators bring up that information throughout the season would be awesome as they do this almost every single game in real life. Commentators always have a conversation about where a guy might have come out of etc..

In franchise mode, I would like to see updated player cards similiar to 2k that tracks awards, allstar appearances etc.

Why not give the user an option to switch the direction? Isn't giving the user more options ideal? That way one can choose which is more comfortable. I don't believe for a single solitary second implementing this option would take much time. and I'd be willing to bet once implemented a solid percentage of users would choose to use this new option.

LOL, making lefties throw right-handed would probably feel more comfortable then IMO (j/k). Anyway, not to derail the thread, but the dominant portion of my post remains the first sentence. Has this feature even been highly requested before you posted? I'd file that under not knowing people want this" rather than "It's too hard to do" or "it'll take too long" - which is a good thing we have threads like this. :-) You might as well add 2 more to your list and get your money's worth.

So many great ideas, I hope a lot of these get implemented, although done of the ideas are probably not legally allowed. Pretty sure the MLBPA contract prohibits allowing users to edit real players appearances due to image protection for example.

                    1. Fix online franchise to be more inline with offline. Especially the jacked up schedule.

                    2. Bring back the stride.

                    That's its. Just 2.

                      Re: MLB 16 Ideas!

                      1. Add face scans, player audio names, and photos into roster updates for top prospects.

I see that you guys gave Andrew McCutchen a haircut in the latest update. First of all, sweet! Second of all, this leads me to something I've been wanting for a long time: completely authentic top prospect roster additions in the seasonal roster updates.

I realize you guys can't go around face scanning minor leaguers, but perhaps you could predict the top 10 or 15 prospects that will be coming up each year and draft up faces for them to add to the seasonal updates (i.e., not just creating them with the in-game face creator). You could have Matt Vasgersian record the names of these players and include their new team photo as well. I would think that if none of this stuff gets released until the player makes his first appearance, SCEA would be alright legal-wise, yes?

                      2. Add generic Rookie ball and Single A to RTTS

It's a little unrealistic when your player starts in AA, especially if he's 18 years old. I don't even think top prospect college seniors start in AA. I realize there might be data limitations with having Rookie and Single A teams, so perhaps they could be generic and non-editable? That way when your player graduates to AA all the data as to the Rookie and A ball teams will just disappear. Kind of like how the high school regional All-Star teams are handled, could we see that sort of thing with Rookie Ball/A-ball? Age should be a factor along with statistical performance as to promotion. 18-19 year old who killed it in Rookie Ball/Single A will still start out in single A the next year, and maybe get promoted to AA later that season, etc.

                      3. Add the option of broadcast view fielding in RTTS

I know it's less immersive, but I have such a hard time fielding in first person view. You just can't replicate the peripheral vision and dimensionality of real life onto a 2-D screen. I'd love to be an outfielder in RTTS while controlling my player in broadcast view!

                        Re: MLB 16 Ideas!

First off, let me say I love your game.

                        1. countdowns to major historical records. I am playing RTTS and was getting close to the all time hitting streak record and they didn't even mention it much. When I broke the NL record they broke away and I got to wave at the crowd, but then they didn't even mention that I was getting close to the record until I hit in 55 straight. When I broke the record I got nothing. NO stoppage of the game or anything. I would think that if you break a record of that magnitude it should be a big deal. Cal ripken breaks the all time games played in a row record and he takes a lap around the stadium. I don't even get a lousy wave or acknowledgment from the crowd. Highly disappointing.

                        2. Historical teams. Top twenty-five all time or historical seasons even as DLC I would pay to get that. I would love to play like the 1927 season or 1974. With the old time uniforms and stadiums.

                        3. RTTS maybe play a season of high school ball to determine your place in the draft.

I would really like to see graphical IQ improved a step further with this game.

Anti-aliasing is still only okay in this game. Clearing up more jaggies would go a long way toward better immersion.

After it is anisotropic shading that I would like to see higher, that or just more detailed textures in certain places. Aniso has a been a problem with the old PS4 SDKs and I think it is much improved now or at least people seem to be aware of the issue with blurry textures at oblique angles. Aniso goes a long way to improving a game's IQ IMO.

I hope the ICE team at Sony can improve AA further without too much cost as well the CPU aspects of general engine utilization. More AA is always welcome in games.
