1 - Create/Edit a stadium. Even if it is just to put more seats in a Minor League Park so I can stop using Rogers Center

2 -The stuff I put in this thread

      3 - I love This idea here!

        Re: MLB 16 Ideas!

While something needs to be done about commentary, I don't think a complete scrap and overhaul is necessary yet. Commentary in my opinion would probably be the biggest/longest project to redo in a sports video game, so I feel like it is too early in the current gen cycle when there are so many other things to focus on. I'd say year 4 or 5 would be ideal. Right now we have almost a thousand first name audio choices and almost five thousand last name choices. That is an insane amount. What will happen with a new commentary team? The same thing that happens with any game that gets new broadcasters. That five thousand will be reduced to maybe a couple hundred for the first year or two, and I really don't want to be going backwards this early in the cycle even if its only temporary. Right now I feel like they should just keep improving on the foundation and then dealing with this huge task when the game is near perfect in a couple years.

        1. Re-haul the uniforms. This has been needed for some time now. I don't just mean making sure pinstripes are correct.
-Correct the number placements being too low on front/back
-make sure all script and logo sizes are accurate
-make patches look like actual patches instead of stickers
-more style options. a lot of guys nowadays like to leave the top 2 buttons unbuttoned. Or maybe Kinsler style pants. Something that sets everyone apart. The authentic apparel and stirrup options are a great start so far.

        2. Gameplay/ball physics. Hard infield choppers are few and far between. It is realistically impossible for a ball to be hit 3 feet behind home plate and only stay in the air for about a second when its off the bat from a 95 mph fastball. And as another user said, balls rarely slice down the lines.

        3. Create a Stadium/ Franchise Relocation.
I look at it as having two options for franchise.
Option 1: Say you relocate the A's to Montreal. You build the new stadium, but obviously you won't be wearing jerseys that say Oakland if you/re in Montreal, so you use the DD jersey creator to create your new unis.
Option 2: New stadium but same city, so you can either keep the authentic uniforms or re-brand your franchise to something new.

The stadium creator doesn't have to be some Autocad type madness, but rather some default dimension options with a variety of seat options, grass colors, vegetation, team branding, etc to set a foundation for future titles. Basically take what MVP baseball did, and add 10 years of technological glitter.

A nice simple quick start to add personality to RTTS

          1. Add a stat that shows how much fans love/hate u.
This could be implemented thru performance and questions regarding opponents before & after games. Endorsements etc.. Some players get cheered in any stadium. Also the boos could rain on u just for being great (think Lebron James) this would help the atmosphere a lot.

          2. User days off. When simulating u have the option to stay in the lineup or sit out

3.interaction with ur coaches and teammates some how.

1...Relocate Franchise with 1 or 2 choices. Atlanta Braves would have The Boston Braves and the Milwaukee Braves.

2...Add commentary and a slot to download created uniforms and stadiums to match.

3...lastly give us a choice of teams to play in our Field of Dreams Season. I would go back to 8 teams in each league.

              Re: MLB 16 Ideas!

These are all Diamond Dynasty and part of a bigger wishlist I put up on my channel (not linking due to spam) but I'll pick the best 3:

-Incentive is needed for the mode besides Achievements. The patches you get for player and team milestones don't do much for me. I'd rather see a Stub or player reward for this, as right now, playing for patches doesn't seem worth it. Exclusive Achievement-only rewards would be awesome.

-Gameplay-wise for going against the computer or in Extra Innings, there should be a few more rewards for playing on Legend. I feel like you should get a couple of players or some Stubs or something as incentive for playing on Legend versus Rookie. The differences are slight, I see that, but maybe tweak that a bit more.

-I'd like to see some more incentives or a sub-mode where you're challenged to go through the ladder of all MLB teams for rewards. Examples would be beating the NL West and getting a pack of NL West cards or stubs for winning. Incentivizing that and completing collections as a result will help build up the bonuses OFFLINE that then can be taken ONLINE in the form of using the rewarded cards.

              Thanks, R!

                MLB 16 Ideas!

The commentary needs a major overhaul!! How about two different announcing teams? Matt V and company could do the game of the week or prime time games. Get some no names to do a million lines so it sounds like they actually are the team's announcers.

An option for the catcher to visit the mound w/o the entire infield and pitching coach.

Fix the foul ball slider. Too many still at the lowest scale.

I'd like to be able to customize , to feel more a "part" of the experience. It's too hard to get anything that feels new for me as a franchise player. So -

                    Re: MLB 16 Ideas!

I've read through a lot on this thread and considered other peoples idea's against my own, and these are the three I consider the most important.

                    1. Retractable Roofs: This is self-explanatory. I know it's not a big deal to some people but to those of us who play in a stadium with a retractable roof it is a glaring issue preventing the suspension of disbelief. I don't need to see the roofs open and close. I just need them to be open or closed logically based on the weather the game decides to have.

                    2. More uniforms: I understand why we can't have every single uniform throughout team history, but we don't even have all of the modern day uniforms available. I'd even be willing to only have 1 throwback uniform if it meant getting all of the present day unis in the game. That being said, the more unis the better and it would be super-amazing if we could add custom uniforms to a team mid-franchise or even mid-season.

                    3. Expanded off season: I would love to see the majority of player progression/regression happen during the off season. More involved interactions with players/other teams (maybe even toss in events like the winter meetings). More things to do in order to prepare for the pre-season. Off season is always my favourite part of a sports game and I would love for it to be more involving.

Flesh out the replay system so we can challenge calls at all bases and have the cpu challenge calls.

Expansion mode and create a stadium to go along with it.

More cut scenes such a pitcher getting a standing ovation after a great outing.

1.) More variation in announcer lines. I like playing on Broadcast but hearing how a pitcher doesnt have to throw his curveball for a strike ten times a game will drive anyone nuts.

2.) Fielding animations that dont take forever and make sense. When the ball comes out in front of the plate, the catcher isnt going to pat the ball in his glove before he throws. He is going to bare hand it and fire it to the base. A player fielding a ball deep in the hole on the run isnt going to plant and throw usually, they are going to throw on the run or jump throw.

3.) Fix foul pop-ups. Way too many pop ups to the catcher, 1st and 3rd baseman in foul territory.
