    New commentary. Something revolutionary that could even integrate Playstation Live.

    Revamped pitcher vs baserunner mode where there are benefits to varying your delivery time, etc. True, real time cat and mouse with 1:1 accurate movements for both pitcher and baserunner. Leads should not be a "button click," but actual analog inches. Also, attempts must never be automatic--player must decide their jump.

    In season transactions--call ups based on stats, not just injuries. Top prospects delayed a month due to arbitration and super 2s. This includes contact extensions which would also be done by the AI.

      1) Improved franchise stat tracking over the course of multiple seasons
      2) The ability to start a franchise with all players having all stats at zero (as if it was season #1 for MLB)
      3) Closed roofs for HOU/SEA/TOR/MIL/ARI

        1. Please add a "Decline trade" option in ALL modes (ala NBA 2K15)
        2. Have an option to turn off auto-save.
        3. Add more off-the-field things to do in RTTS.

          A few more.

          In my franchise I'm using the osfm rosters. As a result guys like Jose Fernandez, Yu etc are in the minors and I'm two months into the season and they're still there. Make cpu teams call up high level prospects or highly rated players earlier. At this point it seems like they'll never get back to the majors.

          Fix pick offs. I literally cannot take a single step off first because the pitcher is a psychic and ALWAYS attempts a pick off. I could have Bryan McCann or Mike trout and one step towards second, even after the pitcher has already looked over five times and is on the verge of throwing the pitch, and boom, pick off attempt. Obviously I'm not running with a slow guy but he'll still pick him off. It's annoying. If I'm gonna steal I can't take any lead.

            Only 3 is not nearly enough!

            Pre, in game and post game presentation stuff should be the number 1 priority for MLB 16 The Show!!!!

            But here you go and all 3 are of course presentation stuff!!!

            1. Better more realistic stat overlays like what you see on real TV baseball broadcasts!

            2 Examples

            When a player hits a Home Run have the Stat Overlay pop up example (2 Run Home Run Ryan Howard 24th this season) while the camera is focused on the batter rounding the bases!

            Also Show the 2 for 4, 1 for 4, 2 for 2 type stats for the in between inning batter due up overlays.


            2. Show realtime stadium fly overs from outside the stadiums before game begins with sports host from a studio narration voice over. With also seeing fans walk into the gates and maybe even buying food. Like how MLB 2K7 did it

            3. "PLEASE STOP" speeding up and taking away all the cool in game presentation stuff that happens between pitchers and outs. Like for example show more foul balls, Show the catcher throw the ball back to the pitcher after every pitch more often instead of cutting it off so much. Show more of the infield throw around the horn after outs. Show more of the batter walking up to the batter box. And also show the batters walking into the dug out a lot more especially when they scored a run so you can see them high five the other players in the dug out.

            Save the faster gameplay and less presentation stuff for "Fastplay" mode!!!

                  1. FINALLY: CLOSABLE DOMED STADIUMS...just get it done already. I can't imagine being a Mariners, Astros, B. Jays, Brewers, etc. fan and not having that option present after all these years.
                  2. More comprehensive stat overlays and commentary (AVG. w/RISP, 2-strikes, etc.)
                  3. More cut scenes...bring back foul ball tracking.

                    Been saying this one for years but seeing as others are saying it, hopefully it makes it in.

                    - Expand the Stats and player tracking. We need to see all stats for each player every season, the fact that I can't see how many stolen bases a guy had last year is baffling. In this same vein we should be able to see what team they played for and awards they won as well as if they were league leader in any stats (the last one could as easy as bolding the stat in their player card). Tracking their Awards and previous breakout years could be included into Overlays and announcing as well.

                    - Expanded Record Books. All-Star Baseball did this wonderfully. They had records for most major stats. Season, Game and Career. Each could be selected and see a leader list. Not only for the league but each team had its own Record books. Its just part of baseball, stats and seeing the brightest stars climb the record books, even if they don't break the record, being #5 all-time hit leader is an accomplishment. This stuff could help you guys in the presentations and making announcing fresher too since its something else the game could talk about.

                    - This last one is about presentation. You could use different presentation schemes (even if you use the same announcers) to represent if a team is playing a local 1pm game or a Sunday Night, game of the week game. General, low budget type presentation for local broadcast but if its a prime time game (or game of the week) it could have a bigger presentation. More overlays stats and analysis of the game and players. Maybe even discussion or highlights of other games from the day?

                    These are all about immersion. You've built such a solid game that really the only things left are things like this. Playing on the field is as authentic as it gets and I've had people question before if I was watching a real game but as soon as an overlay or announcing starts they know its a game. If I had to pick one of any of the items above though I would say the Record Books.

                      2. RTTS contract incentives (earn more stubs per game, achievement, milestone, etc.)

                      3. More minor league teams (Single-A team(s))

                      4. Create-A-Franchise mode (similar to All-Star baseball)

                      5. 3-team trades.

                      6. Increase number of players able to trade in one trade (Change value 3 to 5).

                      7. Ability to trade Compensatory picks in Franchise mode

                      8. Relocation/Expansion ability (similar to Madden 15).

                      That's all I can think of right now.

                                1) One element that I think would exponentially increase the experience of MLBTS is a dynamic scouting report system. I will indulge a bit and describe one way of how it might be implemented.

                                When pitching, each batters scouting information can be integrated into a virtual report that can be toggled on and off in the form of a overlay like the pitchers pitch type in 15 (R2 if I remember right). And a more complete scouting report in a side menu for a deeper dive would be a plus.

                                The question is can it be done? Does the current platform have the functionality to track and list out the data? Components like out of the zone chases, swings at high fast balls, fastball swings on change of speed pitches, fastball hits vs off-speed hits etc. Then this data can be put into tables for each player and update dynamically as more data is accumulated in games. The data accumulation would need to be consistent in player and simulated games. I am not sure if the sim game data is the same shape&size as the player game data but I am guessing it should be.

                                Here is a quick and simple use-case: Your are playing and pitching, late innings - game is still in question. 1st batter up is hitting .250 but has been on fire the last 12 games. he has been hitting everything inside. You can see this in the scouting report that he is hitting .450 in the last 12 games and is hitting .650 on the inside stuff. But even more is he hit .800 on inside fastballs. The scouting says that the slider away has been at a .125 avg all season and the last 12 games its about the same .130. Now that you-the-player know this you can attack his weakness with a authentic approach and feel. The way it is currently each pitch strategy is generic for each batter.

                                If the current platform supports this type of development would be a great addition to any new release 2016 or 2017.... If it does not, creating the data fields and logic and presentation seems very doable.

                                The real question is how does the AI deal with this data. The AI-batter described above needs to start addressing this slider issue based on the data (scouting report). Also in cpu-vs-cpu the AI pitching would need to utilize the data. And of course you-the-player-batter should face the AI which is armed with a scouting report in its tool bag and thus how you have handle that particular batter. Pitcher scout reports would be a great addition as well.

Something like competitiveness, the higher the more likely to be a starting pitcher. This way a reliever can have high pitch related ratings but a lower competitive rating which will cause his overall rating to be lesser, leaving that player of less value then a starter even though he has good stuff. The competitive rating should then be dynamic and scalable to the amount of innings a pitcher will work per outing.

                                Example a reliever that is used for 1 inning consistently will see his competitiveness drop to a level of a 1 inning guy. Competitiveness would also affects the pitchers stamina rating. After each game each pitchers innings is compared to his competitiveness rating. The competitiveness is then adjusted to reflect more or less innings pitched. If the competitiveness goes down 2 times in a row a small drop in stamina is done, 4 times in a row the drop rate increases. The same applies for long or middle reliever that you want to turn into a starter, 3-4 innings of work will not get him to starter competitiveness, so you will start to use him when your starter is getting rocked or need 4-5 inning out. After 5 inning competitiveness rating your guy might be ready for a spot start here and there.

                                I also think a pitcher should be able to get a little boost of stamina and competitiveness during game in virtual real-time if he is dominating like in the example of the confidence meter, this way any pitcher can have outings that help him go beyond expectations and get more established.

                                With this type of dynamic pitcher system a good closer with great stuff will have low competitiveness but if clutch rating was dynamic to pitchers with saves, hold, RISP, etc then pitchers would be able to grow into closers as well.

                                I am just having a little fun, not sure this can be done but would be nice and would really be interesting manage your pitching staff. Game changer!


                                3) the base-runner lead off system is to limited and a lead off is more then likely going to get you picked off. This system just does not get it for me. It is way to linear. The amount of a lead off should not be determined by a set distance as in tapping the R1. It should be more like hold R1+R stick to the desired distance. There should be a feature to zoom in on the pitcher when a leadoff is taken, this may capture the pressure of the moment. Also why no controls to manager hit and runs
