More legendary players and ballparks. Nba does it, why can't mlb?

Improved rtts. I'm talking stories, endorsements, press conferences, SPEAKING, interactions etc. Make it the baseball version of my player. It's 2015, the next gen. Nba has been doing it for many years, mlb should start.

Improved commentary. More interaction between the team. Give us stories, talk about certain players when they come up to bat. It's not horrible like Madden but it's boring as all Hell. Once again, nba does it, Sony can too.

I know this sOunds like I'm hyping nba, but they do these things extraordinarily well. Why can't Sony?

One more thing,I know it's four but I have to say it. Improved player models. The models aren't bad but they've been the same for five years. The waist and chest in particular are bad. It's not noticeable all that much unless you have played every single game in that span. These are basically just more detailed ps3 models. We're into the next gen! It almost feels like I'm playing mlb the show remastered edition sometimes. The stadiums and backgrounds look good but the models are stale at this point. Make skinny players skinny, fat players fat, buff players have muscLes. All the models look the same except some chests and bellys pop out more than others. Give us baggy jerseys and skin tight jerseys as an option. Mlb 2k as God awful as it was gave us that option.

I love the show as much as anybody here but these are legitimate aspects that need improvement upon. If they did these the game would be perfect.

(not really an idea but needs some changing)
Closers dont pitch as much as they do in real life. Quiet a few will throw 70+ innings in a season. Barely get any over 50 innings in the game.

Change it so we can choose more than just SU and MRP. Give us the option to pitch a guy in a specific inning (Kelvin Herrera 7th, Wade Davis 8th). If thats how SU is supposed to work now then its broken.

1. Franchise mode - Ability to offer minor league (non-guaranteed) contracts with the option to invite to spring training (if contract is offered during the offseason).

2. Franchise mode - Ability to "eat" part of a player's salary in a trade. This could be as simple as including an option to send money as part of a trade.

3. Franchise mode - Something I've always dreamed about... Expansion mode! Following the expansion draft rules that have been used any time the MLB has expanded.

I would like to be able to set my teams in playoff mode. For instance for classic rosters in the vault, make it were you can set it to the old format. Where you have just two division winners in each league. ( like from the '80s to mid 90s) Also, with 3 division winners and one wild card for both leagues. I would just like to have full control where I can set it up just like it was that year.

Improvement in player models. They don't look bad now, but some models don't look as good as others. The skin tones look a lot better imo though.

I use auto-baserunning. Baserunning A.I. can be improved on both sides.

Espn/Mlb network presentation broadcast. From guests who talk for a inning or half inning on a significant day to dugout updates on injuries scores events around the league or a clip..basically rip off sunday night baseball . History of the game from highlights of specific parks/players etc. Historic (free) ballparks with some form of information about why they are significant etc etc

Expansion/create a park/ total owner mode I don't like the colour of the outfield walls and we always wear highsocks on Sundays and everyone grows a beard and the grass is this design today and we only play historic jerseys cause owner said so etc I run this town started from the bottom now we here.

Stop the changing of the billboard signs behind home plate mid pitch from broadcast view. It is so distracting to see the meter start and the sign change while I'm pitching this never happens on tv during play for a reason it is years of this come on. And you make them white backgrounds too nothing better then the batter blending in with the background while you pitch...

1. Revamped/more accurate uniforms. I made a post <a href="http://www.operationsports.com/forums/showpost.php?p=2047205066&postcount=106">here</a>

2. Create A Stadium. It doesn't have to be super in depth for year 1, just something that gets me out of Tropicana and the O. Co Coliseum.

3. Ability to see real uniforms in the edit player screen instead of the MLB the Show uniform.

3. Argue call like in MVP Baseball 2005 where you could tap a button to increase how "wild" you wanted to argue with the risk of being tossed or giving your team a boost

1. "UTIL" (utllity) as a secondary position; assuming the 40% defensive hit when you play someone out of position is still a thing, players with this distinction would only suffer a 10% hit no matter where you put them (or 20%, whatever, you get the idea). Point is that the 40% hit is nuts when there are plenty of genuine utility guys out there who can play anywhere, and when even a 99 defender becomes a 59 defender out of position, something needs to change with that.

2. Tell whoever's in charge of audio to add some aircraft to the ambient atmosphere, particularly for outdoor day games. Randomly passing airplaines & helicopters will make for a really nice touch and add a lot of "life," and frankly I'm a bit surprised they aren't already in there. (Hell, true story: my window's open and I hear a helicopter right now as I'm typing this.)

3. The "treatment" the partly cloudy games have gotten (where the sun comes in and out at random, beautiful!) should really be applied to overcast games as well, where there's a chance (10%?) of a "partly cloudy" inning or two during the game. Even something like where you get overcast for the first five innings, then partly cloudy for the 6th and 7th, then mostly sunny for the 8th and 9th, or any similar combination (party cloudy for the 1st and 2nd, overcast for 3-6, then rain for 7-9, or as I said, any combination so long as it makes sense) would be pretty rad.

1. Home/Road/Alternate jersey accessory colors. Let us be able to edit batting gloves and arm sleeves etc depending on the jersey. A lot of guys have different color equipment depending on what they wear.

2. Let us be able to assign 2nd,3rd and 4th positions manually for players instead of basic sets of 2B/SS, etc. Guys like Yangervis Solarte should be able to have alternate positions of 1B, 2B, LF with a primary of 3B. Right now, I can not make this. Same with Wil Myers. I want to be able to add an alternate position of 1B. However if I do that I cannot have him play any other OF position.

3. Sounds of the show. However i know this is more of a system limitation and not the game.

When recording new audio files, make sure that at least the top 100 prospects in baseball have their names recorded. "Cookie" Betts played for Boston in my rosters last year
