Do you use quick counts?

I do...and it doesn't happen with QC's....I've only had a handful of games that are 1 run(the CPU down by 1 or 2) past the eighth....but I might have seen one suicide squeeze.

I ask because when I play with quick counts I don't see it. I only have this issue with full counts.

No I don't.

And just to see if it helps with the figuring it out, I play on:

Default Hall of Fame (Pitching/Hitting)
Manual Fielding
No Quick Counts

Same settings I use. I haven't had the issue pop up in a while, but I haven't been up by 1 or 2 late.

Cold streak....little losing streak and when I win seems to be big.

I know I stated through over 100 games haven't seen it, but that's not a fair assessment since I don't win every game and not every game is a nail biter.

What I can say is a game I just finished against the Cubs, I was up 3-2 in the Top of the 9th and the Cubs had men on 1st and 3rd with 1 out. Dexter Fowler was at the plate and I thought for sure he might try it given what others have seen and he swung away.

I can also say that I've had several tight games/1 run games over the course of my franchise and I have only seen it once that I know of, and maybe one other time earlier in the season.

Nobody seems to put be to put a finger on what is triggering it. Not everyone is seeing the issue. I have seen in over 100 games maybe 1 or 2 suicide squeezes. I know of one for sure.

But what people are referencing in videos I have yet to see.

After hearing all these stories, I get into similar situations as to what people are describing and it doesn't happen.

Man, it was the same for me, for smth what felt like 100 games (might have been anything between 50 and 150), I have seen it just like you for 1, max 2 times, maybe even not at all as I didn't question back then what the cpu was doing so those might have been proper bunts just like you see them in real baseball.
Now in the last 10 to 15 games it happened in 3 of them and not only once in each but several times consecutively. Always in late innings, tough that might be a coincidence, once even a walk-off squeeze and usually performed by good hitters like CarGO or Adam Jones.

All I could connect it with is AS-difficulty as I switched to it just recently after not getting past Vet using dynamic difficulty.

Just wondering what would happen and if it'd work that well if teams started going to that tactic irl.. I believe the quality of bunts in the game is much better though.

I was going to see if reinstalling my game and the patch would fix the frequency but I'm not sure how viable that would even be

I've never seen the AI attempt the suicide squeeze so much in any baseball game. Be aware with a runner on 3rd and less than 2 outs. They are not scared to squeeze.
