Basically for mlb 14 and mlb 15 I've gotten to use their #1 pitcher for 2 months each year. No matter what I do or how I play he's going to suck. Than imagine how you feel when you get the next year's version and he's an 80 again but in 2 months he sucks. Is that really how it's supposed to be?

I completely realize it's hard to predict what a guy is going to be in the future but doesn't that affirm that the whole system should have them regress less drastically. Wouldn't you want to err on the side of caution in that case with less huge swings.

About the most I'd like to see perhaps a modifier for knuckleballers since they have a long history of "beating age", or perhaps some sort of flag/trait/etc that's hidden that could create "exceptional" career arcs (both on the up and downside - not just making declines slower).

Otherwise, if it were more cautious, I'd have to call my franchise the Julio Franco franchise. Or maybe everyone still has PEDs in my game because I'm not seeing any of these -15/year drops. Literally, none.

the regression system in the show is pretty good compared to most other sportsgames out there. like the direction they took this year with regression starting a bit later.

I disagree. Fifa and NHL seem realistic IMO, but I'm not too sure about Madden's system because I don't play it too often.


I remember 2k baseball having a good system.
