I have always rerated drafted pitchers pitches, as movement tends to be the biggest discrepancy between the pitch edits that guys do compared to the incoming draftees. As far as minors go that re in the game, I was thinking those pitch ratings were typically based of the seanjeezy's philosophy in the past, but maybe I might be wrong about that. I guess I might need to look into that as I know some of the MILB pitchers don't have any data on them, so thanks for the heads up on that, as I don't want things skewed between minors and major league players.

Great news! I just ran a test myself and everything was fine, guess looks I'll restarting.
One thing remains though, with all teams having around 10 mio budget room in year 1, players on big contracts are very hard to trade anywhere (e.g. Cole Hamels, who is making over 20 mio...)

True stuff. That's why that roster might be the best.

I restarted with v2. Actually, I didn't have to restart as I did RTTS and diamond dynasty while waiting. Set up my franchise last night and I'm off next week.

Is the 25 man roster a non-issue if I do a fantasy draft?

So confirmed no issues with contracts? Should this be fine doing year to year saves?

No doubt that if you restart, you'll get the new benefits. I'm still running with OSFM V.1 but I did do lots of edits from noticed errors, contract adjustments, ratings, etc...***nning with 1 team this year and all is so far excellent, so no restart for me. Going to use this as my year to year save.

HOWEVER....I may do a 30 team down the road. So keep on "rockin" RidinDwnKingsley!

I did a quick sim. I actually like the trade logic better with the updated contracts. There are more trades and the quality of players traded are much better. I'm assuming the tweaks to the trade logic actually improved this aspect.

The only negative I see is renewable and arbitration eligible players seem to sign deals that are super cheap, like 4 years for a total of 1.5 million.

I did see Cueto go unsigned in the offseason. All and all not horrible. I would suggest using 30 team control. By year 3 or so contracts are all basically at scea levels save for the few stragglers.

I agree 100% I saw the same during testing.

When you do 30 team control doesn't it take forever to get trough a season? Or do you somehow streamline all the issues that come up? It just seems like a billion things per day would need to be resolved?

So I went with the Padres and wanted to give a update cos it's been a tough ride so far lol.
Yes their pitching is pretty good all around but offensively even with Upton, Kemp and Myers they are just an average team- especially playing half their games at Petco.
What really is the problem with them however, and that might be the first time in an baseball game I really recognize it to that extend, is how terrible they are at defending. The entire infield consist of way below average fielders. Can't believe what weak grounders make to the outfield.
An body made a similar experience with them?

Damn it I really thought I finally found my team to play with the rest of the year lol, won't give up yet but have to see how long I'll be able to tolerate that amount of frustration.

Wait, So do i have to use 30 team roster control to get the most benefits out of this new roster?

With the new roster do you still need to downgrade the potential of every pitcher in order to prevent the issues seen in the original rosters? Specifically, I am referring to the issue that has been reported where there is an abundance of top tier pitchers 3 or 4 years into the franchise causing the hitting statistics to become unrealistic. I was not sure if the update adjusted stats such as potential of it was solely player updates and appearances.
