Yes their pitching is pretty good all around but offensively even with Upton, Kemp and Myers they are just an average team- especially playing half their games at Petco.
What really is the problem with them however, and that might be the first time in an baseball game I really recognize it to that extend, is how terrible they are at defending. The entire infield consist of way below average fielders. Can't believe what weak grounders make to the outfield.
An body made a similar experience with them?

Damn it I really thought I finally found my team to play with the rest of the year lol, won't give up yet but have to see how long I'll be able to tolerate that amount of frustration.
I'm off to a rocky start myself with the Astros at 1-2. I traded for Marcell Ozuna with some high level prospects to add some power in the lineup to hit between Carter and Gattis. Also sent Valbuena, Straily and a prospect to Milwaukee for Aramis Ramirez as he was the only 3B I was able to pry away. Just have to get this lineup to make more consistent contact. Tendencies for strikeouts remain high with Carter, Gattis and Springer. The pitching staff needed some work so i went out and got DeGrom from NYM and Shoemaker from LAA as both the Mets and Angels had extra pitching. Gave up some solid prospects for them but hopefully that solidifies the rotation. Also was able to nab some international pitching talent in Otani, Fujinami and Maeda who are all occupying the Triple A Rotation along with Lance McCullers (B Pot) and then we have Mark Appel in Double A along with some other young Astros talent.

Whoa - I never thought of doing a second profile. So I would do that with my second game pad - is that what you meant?

Never let fear determine who you are. Never let where you came from determine where you are going.

What are the differences between v2 and the v2.01, which should i download? Looking to restart my franchise like right now so a quick answer would be highly appreciated lol

I wasn't going to start over but since I have already botched up my current franchise a couple times already, I decided to start it over again. There are still 4 months left in the season and if I played only 2 games a day then I would easily catch up with the M's current season after a few weeks. Plus just going through and reading this thread I have learned a few things that I missed while just creating my current franchise.
