    Number of blown saves?
    Ratings of the pitchers?

    I was 30th in BS in '14 with the Pirates. It was pitching on HoF. I had to make slider adjustments.
    My sliders are posted in the Sliders forum here.
    I've restarted so many times I don't have any statistics to use, lol.
    Last restart, through 4 games, my team batting average was .324 and my team ERA was 7.56. Convenient, no?
    In those 4 games, I already had one blown save with Andrew Miller in 2 opportunities. I was 2-2.
    The ratings for my pitchers were:

    Tanaka - 90
    Pineda - 85
    Sabathia - 78
    Eovaldi - 76
    Warren - 76

    My main set up man was Betances at 90.
    Miller was my closer at 86.

      You can save the sardonicism. And no, I believe you are missing the point of his post. He already gave you a brief breakdown... And it has everything to do with how it happened, and the events leading up to the rally, and subsequent win by the Phillies. Other things to note: Reds starter Mike Leake actually had a no-hitter through 5 innings and no runs allowed thru 8, but couldn't get out of the ninth (sound familiar?) Secondly, despite his recent 2-game heroics, Maikel Franco is a .205 career hitter, so based on the rubber banding logic, he shouldn't have been able to do that, without some type of boost from... the CPU? Sony SDS? Jabu? I don't know. Certainly, the Phillies shouldn't have been able to rally 2 nights in a row, in the FASHION that they did! And the error to end last night's game? HOW does this happen? All this is exactly what you claim in your rubber banding argument.

      Here, for a viewing pleasure... not shown is the apparent loss of control Leake experienced to have him pulled from the game:



      As for the frequency, the other game was an example, within the last 24 hours of it happening. Then there was my Tigers giving up 5 runs (including a grand slam in the 7th), after blanking the A's all night... I think you get the picture.

        Talk about saving the sardonicism? Again, you're missing the point, my friend. It's not the fact that it happens. It's the frequency and the how. Does it happen in the MLB every day? No. Does it happen every other day? Possibly. But remember, there are 15+ games going on every day, that's 1 out of every 30 games? Maybe 2? In the Show, this type of thing happens literally 50 - 66% of all games. This isn't even an exaggeration.

          I thought you'd be on close to default with CPU hitting. Contact at 4 as well as timing and solid hits at 3? I didn't expect to see that at all.

          I use auto fielding and classic pitching. Maybe that's the difference. I'll post what I'm at in the near future but I am working through the night, FML.

          I want to say I have CPU hitting at Contact 5, Power 5, Timing 4, Solid hits 4, Fouls 0.

          I did up my pitcher control so I don't miss crazy. I still def walk guys and notice a big difference between my studs and guys rated like high 60's/low 70's

            Just returning the medicine. And for the sake of sanity... okay, you're right (although I'd suggest checking your math).

            I had actually stepped back from replying to any of these threads a couple of weeks ago. Although, my initial post was in response to cactusruss, anyway.

              I think my next change is to the Pitcher Control slider. I have it at 3 I believe and . . . well, you get the point.

                Maybe of all your games but not all games. If that was the case I can guarantee you there would be an outpouring of support for this "rubber band AI" issue.
                I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

                I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

                    It's why I play on Veteran hitting and pitching. lol
                    Not saying I notice it, I just want to avoid it.

                    And I finagle my team's individual attributes. So if I cough up a lead, I can live with it.

                    All-Star level drives me nuts. I get too into it and want to throw my controller. Not worth it. I play this game to sit back and enjoy.

                            Again, it's not every game, dude. And I never said it was comeback code. There are ways to stop it. I just haven't figured out how.

                            I've posted videos before in other threads. So have other people. I made a topic maybe 2 weeks ago that had a few such videos posted in it.
