I can deal with animation errors, but the rate at which these guys throw over the bag and in the dirt on plays that are not in a hurry, is flat out unacceptable.
I play with button throwing, no feedback. HOF difficulty. Fielding is also HOF, assisted (manual). I still make fielding and throwing errors, but nothing unrealistic. I can pretty much tell if I didn't release the button at the right time with throws tho. Infield errors are at default. Outfield errors are at 4 (default -1)

I really don't even know what to say at this point. Just lost a game in the bottom of the eighth because of this play.

And yes, I am aware of the "this one time" in baseball it happened to Pedro Alvarez........but no.

Well...what are you trying to say about that?
Are you saying that was coded to do that to have you lose the game?
Or are you saying it's a bad graphical glitch?

I'm sorry but all I can do is laugh at that. Your first baseman needs a new glove, because his is obviously defective!

Tough break, but hey there are 162 games in the season, I'm sure you'll bounce back from it.

I think he's protesting that his players need new gloves because the ones they have have holes in them!

There's no doubt that it was a bad graphics glitch. My question is what on that play caused the glitch to happen? It was a routine bunt attempt and a set throw from the pitcher.

I don't believe anything is coded to have players lose. But what I am constantly seeing and have seen during my time of playing this series, is an inordinate amount of things that contribute to losses that the user has no control over.

Did that really happen to Pedro Alvarez?

On topic: .... LOL, I've got nothing. Although I don't think it's possible to lose a game in the bottom of the 8th inning.

Trust me I agree 100% with this. But I'm seeing too many tough breaks that I have no control over.

This is what everyone who's defending it seems to be missing. Things like this happen an INORDINATE amount of times on higher difficulties and they only occur to simulate a more challenging experience when in reality it's just a cheesier experience that MAKES it more challenging.

How do you have control over a graphic glitch?

Are you saying that this graphic glitch can only happen on a certain level or at certain times?
                        That would be absurd.

First and foremost, please stop saying people are defending. Its open discussion. Those kind of statements do nothing but derail threads quickly and turn them into non-productive discussions.

Second, I play on Hall of Fame default. Every setting is Hall of Fame, and after playing ST twice (60ish games) and an entire season (162 games), these types of things are few and far between in my experience.

And finally, I asked you before and I'll try asking again. How many times has this happened to you and how many games have you played? I could probably count on one hand how many times an error has cost me a game or something like what BP referenced has happened in a game.
