This year I am aiming for a fresh approach to MLB The Show. I am not carrying over a franchise, I am not waiting for a roster, I am not waiting for sliders. The day of release I will start my standard two franchises and my RTTS and I am not looking back.

No starting over, no "man I like that roster better" starting over, no "hey maybe I will try this team" I am so tired of wasting my time and not getting anything accomplished. Last year I got to year 3 of my Nationals Franchise and I just wasn't feeling it and ended up back in 14. I am playing 15 again now for the winter, "tuning up" for 16. But I am tired of bouncing around.

I am very seriously going to try to approach 16 with open eyes and no preconceived notions of good or bad. I may even stay away from The Show forums for a few weeks after launch, just so my mind doesn't get swayed by the enormous amounts of negativity and junk that seem to always follow launch.

I am hoping 16 is the year that I fall in love with The Show again. Not just playing it because there aren't any other options.

I couldn't agree more! I do the same thing once the season starts and attributes start changing, players get added... I am going to try hard to to stick to my original franchise and play it through.

Go into batting practice and take some swings at some of the "Ole ballparks" like the Polo Grounds and hopefully Shea Stadium.

Nah, just my batting skills.

I always say start at the bottom in terms of difficulty, and work your way up to where you are consistent, but not overwhelming. I always seem to be starting near the bottom, then about 4-5 games in I am really limiting myself in handicap.

Too early to tell honestly. Gotta see what significant changes they've made to Franchise before I make my purchase, among other additions.

I leave it on dynamic difficulty. That way it changes as I do.

1) Look at My Dodgers roster and player ratings
2) Dive into Diamond Dynasty and start opening packs,
3)Continue my franchise from MLB 15 unless 16.

Scan rosters and stances, play some exhibition games in the classic stadiums, play at Progressive Field to check out the improvements, then continue my RTTS from '15....all while hopefully collecting some decent cards to begin my DD team.

All this will be done to kill time until the new OSFM comes out and I get into my main mode of play...Franchise!

Wont be popping it in... will be Downloading it... but first thing i will do once downloaded... will be to transfer 15 to 16 and start my new season right away with my two time defending champion Miami Marlins

I wanna keep my Giants franchise (mid 2017) going so bad but i really cant stand looking at Duffy's animated face anymore....If only the real faces would attach to the carried over rosters!
