Re: What are your plans for your team in franchise mode?

I'm going to be carrying over my franchise that I started in 14. I don't do 30 team control and I'm one of those people who says "hey, if the computer lets me do it, it's fair".

Needless to say my team is more than a little stacked, both with current players and prospects, and I'm pretty much set for several years to come. That being said, there are still a few questions I need to answer in the coming off season that I hope to answer before 16 is downloaded onto the PS.

Lock up Bryce Harper - This is priority #1.

Move back to a 5 pitch rotation - Not really a question, as it's 99% likely to happen. Zimmerman will hit free agency, and the 5 left are a lock for next season.

Float Jose Reyes on the trade market - He might be terrible in real life, but he's been a defensive gem for me in the show and a solid #2 man in the order. Still, his contract is fairly hefty, I have plenty of talent ready to take over up the middle, and I have a sneaking suspicion that regression is right around the corner, so I will be very interested in any offers I can get for his services.

Look for a utility outfielder in FA or trade - Jose Bautista has had 2 phenomenal years with my team, but the third year has seen some intense regression hit the 35 year old. With him not likely to be back, that makes for a shortage of outfielders on the 40 man. There are possible in system solutions, but I'd prefer to keep them off the 40 man while they are still protected and developing. If Reyes does leave via trade, I could see a guy like Ben Revere being a good fit. I'd also be remiss if I didn't look at the big names hitting the FA, like Giancarlo Stanton, but those are more fantasies than realistic solutions. I can't afford those guys.

There are tons of other things to do before MLB 16 The Show hits my ps4 hard drive, but those are the biggest items grabbing my attention. The rest involves more minutia, like arbitration and financial road maps (budgeting).

I will be carrying over my Year 1 Reds franchise. We're in late August and have a real shot for the postseason. We are 1 game out of the wild card and 5 games behind the Cards for the division.

After completion of year 1, I will download OSFM and start fresh with the Reds, and suffer with them through the rebuild....

      Can't wait!!

Going to carry over a franchise and may start a new one once OSFM drops. Both as the Cubs. Going to play all 162 games in the 2016 season on the carried over one. I've done it before on a previous franchise I had in 2015 so looking forward to doing it again. Also looking forward to playing at Wrigley with the updates in 2016 and the fixed boundaries.

Start a new Franchise with the Yankees. And not start over. I will wait for the opening day roster update to be released, and then I'm going from there. Seems like every year I find excuses to start over multiple times, and its June, sometimes July before I even get my franchise started. That isn't happening this year. Plus I plan to play every pitch of every inning of every game.

It looks like a lock for the playoffs this year, so I'm sure I'll get the re-up....

If I get the W.S. crown...I might move on.
If not....getting it in '17 in the MLBTS '16 version.

How's the team looking? I'm interested to see how someone dedicated to building the mets through the game went about building the team compared to the real life Mets.

Continue on with year 5 of my Cubs carryover franchise. Trying to finally get past the NLCS and win it all. And enjoy checking out all the upgrades to Wrigley.

I'll probably also start a new franchise with either OSFM opening day rosters or SCEA'S opening day roster with the Cubs. I'm guessing I won't be able to pass up using Bryant, Russell, Schwarber, etc. with their face scans.

I kept all the young pitchers(still have Matz in the minors)....and Colon as well.

I traded for John Jaso this past year as D'arnaud was playing poorly and then got injured. He's second in the league batting .325.

I also traded for Brock Holt to stop-gap at SS as neither Tejada nor Flores could hit squat.

I kept Eric Young Jr. from the start of the franchise for some speed and OF depth.

Conforto has been ripping it up.

I grabbed Cespedes long before the actual Met trade and he was so-so to start, but has been hot lately and leads the team with 28 HR's

David Wright has been abysmal ......hitting less than .220 and little power. I actually use Murphy at 3B a lot and Holt at his natural 2B with Tejada at SS.

My pitching is 1-2-3 in just about every category while my hitting is 25 or below in just about every category.

I've got a comfortable lead on the Nats, who just manage to blow every game with the Mets.....it's either 8.5 or 9 at the start of Sept or my third season.

                  I manage every game.

Im finishing up my career in RTTS (I play every at bat) I have been stock pilling stubbs and putting them into a new RTTS file which I plan to start 16 with.

Question, I have a guy at the literally beginning of RTTS before he even played one game in the showcase, He's the one ive been putting points into, do you guys think I would still be able to play for the scouts in the drills they showed in MLB 16 if I transfer my file like that? I have a high doubt, but if it were possible this would be the way to do it.

Playing as the Cubs and using spring training to figure out the final spot in the 5 man rotation and the back end of the bullpen.

I plan on carrying over my 15' franchise with my hometown Atlanta Braves with Terry Pendleton as manager. I still have Kimbrel, Heyward, Simba and Freeman, Bump that real life rebuild. I just have to give Heyward a long term contract. Consider it done!

I am very please with the play of E.Y. Jr. speed, singles turns into doubles, maybe triples if a lefty is on the mound. Batting over .300, 30 plus SB. He's my table setter. I got to give him long term deal too. I still have C. Betancourt & A.J. behind the dish. A.J. has taken over like in real life. The guy can hit and Betancourt can't. So finding a FA LF & C is going to be at the top of my list for the 2016 season.
