I have not seen this in MoM and am 4-0 with 60+ stealers. Seems normal to me but not many games!

Unless you adjusting sliders I suspect as you play more you will see a lot of caught stealing.

Luckily (06 not) my drafted team seems to be a bunch of slow power hitters and I have a Gold Glove catcher.

I know I was 12-2 in Spring Training with very fast baserunners (95+ steal rating) but my catcher did throw out a number of guys (unlike previous years)

For anyone that cares - I moved

CPU Manager Hook - 4 because the CPU Manager was never letting the Starter get near 100 pitches. Seemed like he was REALLY quick

I was able to witness seeing the opposition base runner at first base have to dive back to the bag for the first time in my MoM game last night. I was concerned about him stealing in the middle of the game. When I attempted to pick him off the first time, it was the same old same old "back standing up" scenario I have only ever seen these last two years of MoM game play. But then something in my head said "do it again", and I did, and moments before the pickoff thrown animation kicked in the base runner took an extra step towards second and he was force to dive back. Now I didn't pick him off. But all is well in Mudville since none of my base runners have been picked off yet either. Of course I have only played 5 Spring training games and 2 regular season games in MLB 16 MoM. So I am still working on a very small sample set.

The game still has some warts. But it's the best it's ever been.

Not following you? care to elaborate to help me understand the issue? Perhaps I am not seeing this yet because I am a Season Mode player and I am only 2 games into the 2016 regular season? If I am not mistaken player progression/regression does exist in Season mode like it does in Franchise mode. But things happen in Season mode a lot slower.

If I am not mistaken player progression/regression does exist in Season mode like it does in Franchise mode. But things happen in Season mode a lot slower.

I don't know how season mode works. In franchise vsLHP is progressing/regressing more rapidly than anything else. If you adjusting sliders you now have slider based progression.

Not dumb at all - go to the the schedule with the weeks and months on the right (not the ADVANCE DAY on the left) - click on VIEW ORG GAMES (the top one) click and you have PLAY GAME or MANAGE game and another option I don't know what it does.

I would like to do a franchise mode and MOM some games and sportscast manage others but in years past you couldn't do a double switch. Does anyone know if that is any better in sportscast manage mode.

I've noticed this too. In one game, CPU burned through the entire bullpen and even had one of the starters warm up. At times, it seemed as if the CPU felt compelled to replace whoever was on the mound anytime he allowed a baserunner. I set the manager hook to 3 and the results were better in the handful of games played.

As Mike stated on other thread, since CPU AI logic for managing BP is horrendous, I always bump the reliever stamina slider up so at least they put a fresh reliever.

FYI, If I remember correctly, Ramone said relievers attributes starts decreasing after 50% energy, starters after 20%.
