I haven't played The Show in a couple years, so I have a few questions about this years version:

-Is it possible to prevent trades from occurring between CPU teams?

-Are offseason player declines, with players in their 30's, still drastic?

-Is there the ability to change the direction of the left handed pitching meter? I'd like to be able to have it face the same direction as the right handed version, as otherwise it's tough to get the timing down.

* I am almost certain there is an option to turn off cpu trading. Not in front of the game right now to look. If not you could control all 30 teams and put everything on AUTO except for trades and leave them manual so the cpu can't trade.

* I can't answer as I haven't experienced the offseason yet.

* None that I have found.

You could technically out the Trade Frequency slider to 0, and that should (in theory) eliminate CPU trading.

So if I control just one team I can't pick an option to not have CPU to CPU trades occur? I remember there being some AWFUL one sided trades made by the CPU.

Like I said, I believe there is an option when setting up franchise that allows you to turn off cpu trades, but I can't recall exactly without being in front of the game. I'm like 98% sure that its there.

CB's right. There's an option to turn trades off.

As for player declines, there are still some drastic ones from what I've seen, but it seems that most guys who are still performing at a high level don't suffer those same sharp declines, so it's not as pervasive as it was.

At the trade block it says press x to initiate trade, but when I press it, nothing. This is with 30 team control, but everything set to auto for cpu teams.

creating a player in RttS and eyewear doesn't give sunglass options. just normal glasses.

am i doing something wrong?

Pitch Command ... why can I sometimes see these circles around my pitcher's pitches showing Pitch Command, and sometimes they are not there?

Does it have to do with Confidence? If so, what are the 'rules' about when I get to see the information and when I do not? Does pitcher Confidence need to be above a certain threshold? Do I lose the ability to see pitch Command in certain situations? If so, which ones precisely?

(Yes, I'm aware that Mound Visits increase Pitcher Confidence. I'm also aware that getting outs increased Pitcher Confidence. And that pitchers tend to have more command of their 'better' pitches.)

Is there no way to edit the color of a catcher's mask? The actual metal cage part of the old style, I mean, I can't find it anywhere.

Has anyone noticed that all of their players think they're on the bench? Literally every position player on my 25 man roster has "Bench" for their Morale Status

And all of my pitchers think they're in the bullpen.

And it's every player in the league.. not just my team.

Does anyone know why some players don't show up in the lineups while in Daily Roster mode even though they were included in the roster update and are in the "live roster"? Such as Christian Vasquez for the Red Sox?

Can player potential in franchise still change based on hot/cold streaks? I no longer get random emails about performance (only the end of month ones) and haven't noticed any changes. Thanks!

I'm not in front of my PS4 right now but I think you can flip the meter if you use a custom camera. I mean, you can edit where it's at on the screen so why shouldn't you be able to flip it too?

EDIT: Checked it out and it seems you can't flip the meter. That's just silly. My next RTTS career will probably be a LHP and it will sure take some time before I get used to that. Sorry if I got your hopes up

Nope. You need to unlock sunglasses, pretty much like other equipment. I'm not sure it works as intended, but it's your only option at the moment.

This has probably been answered somewhere but I haven't found it.. How do I keep MyPlayer from regressing? Keep losing points and can't seem to build him up properly.
