I also picked up Jose Fernandez. Can he play multiple positions in real life or has he just been a 2B??

No clue, but I needed the versatility.

Edit: Here is an excerpt from a scouting report I have found. He can play third, but it won't be at a high level, which is what I am finding out. He doesn't really have the arm for it. But his bat is needed in my lineup.

"Defensively, Fernandez is a passable fielder at second base, but would be considered a below-average middle infielder. The majority of the time, he makes the routine plays with no problems; but because of his lack of range, a slow initial reaction speed, and a fringy arm, he can't be counted on for too much else. He has experience playing third base as well, but because of the same issues that limit his ability at second base, his defensive abilities don't exactly play up at third, either."

Cardinals avoid the sweep by the Cubs by winning game 3 of the series 3-0. Carpenter and Moss both went deep in this game and Moss drove in another run on a double.

Bad news/Good news: Bad news is that the Cardinals lost Carlos Martinez for 2-3 weeks due to injured back after taking line drive off his back in the first inning. Good news is that Lance Lynn came in and pitched 6 2/3 shutout baseball to earn the win. Lynn will be in the rotation in place of Martinez who was placed on the 15 day DL.

Miguel Sococolivich was called up in take the spot of Martinez.

I don't. I play on Hall of Fame with TNK's version 3 sliders. One bad pitch in the 7th tied 0-0 to Big Tex for a 3 run shot got me.

Just played the Brewers and gave up 9 runs on 12 hits 6 K's and 1 BB and 3 HR in 5 innings and I play with armor & sword, and Marino slider set. Even in last years game I could pitch with everyone but Keuchel.

Vladimir Guerrero Jr. drove in 10 runs in a AAA game for the Blue Jays in my franchise!

I didn't play the game as it was simmed, but I always check minor league box scores for some of the more notable prospects.

I'll make this short & sweet.

I lost the opener to the Yankees 4-0. Tanaka shut me down on 140 pitches, I REPEAT 140 pitches. How is that possible? Using TNK sliders also.

If you are willing to put in some extra work, the cpu will manage is starters and bullpen more realistically. Read the whole thread and see if you are interested. In the thread, there was member of the community who said he was making the edits to the new OSFM roster. If he is willing to share his edited roster file, it would save you the work, and you could restart your franchise, since you are only one game in. I hope it helps you. I am using a roster from spring training that is not OSFM, but is now pretty accurate after I did my edits to it.

Padres are not playing well, started the season 1-5, Kemp only has 3 hits. Gonna be a long season

1-1 with the braves so far in first series against nationals. Played decent against Scherzer but Strasburg ate me up. Threw a shutout. Playing on all hof with directional not looking very good so far lol. But I have played 2 great pictures. Matt Wisler got ate up only lasted 3 innings, rough day for bullpen

I am stuck between using the White Sox or the Nationals. Probably will lean towards Chicago and make some moves to get the team towards my liking.

Playing a series and simming one. Went 2-1 vs the Cardinals. Starting pitching did good other than bud norris getting to the 8th and giving up 3. Kelly Johnson got hot and hit 2 hrs and drove in 7 runs for the series. Don't doubt kelly! lol sitting in 2nd place at 3-2

Waiting for Millennium's 40 man rosters to drop, then I'll start my annual 'chise with the Red Sox! Now I'm just thinking up ideas for my other franchise that I usually start at the beginning of summer. Debating on a few teams right now, but the Twins, Angels, Braves, and Rockies interest me most. Any suggestions?

Downloaded OSFM and started my Yankees franchise this afternoon. I'm loading Opening Day now. Let's go! Plan on playing this into the wee hours of the morning. Sleep is for the weak.

Cardinals increase win streak to 4 in a row with a sweep of the Padres in San Diego. Next up is 4 in Arizona vs the Diamondbacks.
