Where would plouffe play with Longo at 3b?

Looking to get another Ace for the Red Sox chise to pair with Price for the stretch run. I am looking at Sonny Gray and Danny Salazar, and was wondering if a package of Henry Owens, Blake Swihart, Joe Kelly and maybe a lesser prospect would get either?

In my first year of a franchise as the Detroit Tigers, nearing the trade deadline and in need of a starting pitcher (when isn't Detroit looking for pitching help lol). I'm curious as to if it's realistic for us to acquire Zack Wheeler from the Mets. What kind of package would we have to offer? I'd rather not trade Fulmer if possible, but as long as I can keep either him or Norris, then I'm good.
Who I am is not important. Only my message is.

You didn't get him for Cespedes what makes you think you can get him for anything else on your roster ?

Nope. Need a better centerpiece than Owens for either of those. That's not an "ace" package. Stats would also be helpful.

Hard to do since they couldn't get him last year. So not entirely realistic. Fulmer should be safe since the Mets traded him to Detroit last year, so they obviously preferred other options. Personally, I'd have to at least start by looking at Norris, Christin Stewart, Jacoby Jones/Dixon Machado, and Tyler Collins/Steven Moya. Just spitballing for a starting point. Mets need more bats in the farm system.

In my chise the Redsox made a deadline deal for Jake McGee sending Blake Swihart + low c prospect ...

Should I let it be or reverse it ?? (don't control either team not a 30 team control) Rockies are out of it while the red sox are in first 1.5 games ahead

                      Jake McGee - (W-L) 2-1 (SV) 25 (IP) 35.0 (BB) 11 (SO) 32 (ERA) 2.83 (WHIP) 0.94

                      Blake Swihart - (AB) 290 (R) 42 (HR) 5 (RBI) 20 (SB) 1 (AVG) 2.83 in AAA

Nope, nope, and nope. For an ace you need to move one of Benintendi, Espinoza, Devers, Moncada.

Also what is the value of a guy like Pedroia, with the stats similar to what he has IRL? JW because I'm going to call Moncada soon and want to hand him the job next season.

Don't really see it as realstic, but looking more for fairness. One of the reasons is it's a new year, and Wheeler is struggling since his return. Both in real life, and in my franchise. Add in the fact that the Mets have a surplus of young pitching, with almost all performing better than Wheeler, seems logical they'd be willing to trade him to add some bats

IRL Wheeler has not even touched a mound. He just started long toss a few days ago... Yea we do have a surplus but as we are trying to win now why trade Wheeler for farm bats ?

Rockies for Cargo, Brewers for Braun, Cubs for Soler just to name better options... NOT SAYING ANY OF THOSE TRADES ARE A SURE FIRE just pointing out what other MLB ready bats are out there to dangle Wheeler plus more if needed

Yeah, that was my mistake about him having taken the mind this year. Realized it after I posted it lol. Moya and Collins have had time in the majors and, while they have had their struggles, they could still provide both farm bats and froth at the major league level. Castellanos is another I could part with if need be.

There are plenty of more enticing MLB ready bats available out there, but that's why I'm trying to see if there's a fair package that could be offered from the Tiger's organization. I already knew it was doubtful with the way our team has been built, just hoping for some ideas.

For value see what others think of J.D. Martinez + Jose Iglesias ? That's something the Mets would think about. But if not theres nothing of value.. Those guys you keep bringing up are not better then what we already have...

you want Wheeler for some reason so .....
