Re: MLB 16 Trade Discussion Thread
It seems like a lot to give all 3 of those young guys in the same deal, but if you really want Archer that's probably close to what it might take.Chicago Cubs | Chicago Bulls | Green Bay Packers | Michigan WolverinesComment

Re: MLB 16 Trade Discussion Thread
I am the Tigers in my franchise, Both the Tigers and the Mariners are in the playoff hunt and I want a deal that gets me Lind and Clevenger, and the Mariners need pieces to improve their team as well. My package would start with Saltalamacchia to replace Clevenger and I want to know what else I'd need to give up. Any thoughts?Follow my Twins franchise http://www.operationsports.com/Tmizzle/dynasty/Comment

Re: MLB 16 Trade Discussion Thread
If you take away Gillaspie and Honeywell, I think you got yourself a deal. Getting Archer will take this type of haul and you are giving up 3 really big pieces from your farm for Archer. How do you feel though with losing Mazara from your everyday lineup? Who will be your starting OF now that you are dealing Mazara? Profar has lost some of his value but still is regarded as a quality prospect. Gallo was your future 3Bso you are definitely giving up a lot. Its a fair deal when you cut out Honeywell and Gillaspie.Follow my Twins franchise http://www.operationsports.com/Tmizzle/dynasty/Comment

Re: MLB 16 Trade Discussion Thread
What kind of package would it take to land Joe Ross from the Washington Nationals? It's only mid-May, but I want to start planning out my approach to the Trade Deadline now.
The Nationals are 25-12 and 3.5 up in the NL East,
He's put up a 3-2 record, a 1.30 ERA, 2.54 FIP, 6.7 K/9, 1.5 BB/9 and 1.43 WAR over his first 48.1 innings.
He's the worst starter in their rotation somehow, and the Nationals have been in the bottom third of almost every offensive team ranking with center field, first base, second base, and catcher being their worst positions so far this season. I would be the Yankees trying to get him, and I'm open to moving whoever or eating however much to make it happen. Thoughts?Comment

Re: MLB 16 Trade Discussion Thread
I think 2 of Mazara/Gallo/Profar + Ortiz/Brinson for Archer would be closer to fair value. I think the Rays would want Mazara most, and then I think they'd prefer Profar to Gallo but I could be totally wrong on that and also flipped my opinion twice thinking on that so just send whoever you feel more comfortable sending. And then Ortiz/Brinson are both very good.

That's why I said wouldn't happen. I mean it's his franchise and he can do what he wants but it won't get approved on this forum page.Follow my Twins franchise http://www.operationsports.com/Tmizzle/dynasty/Comment

Re: MLB 16 Trade Discussion Thread
I am looking to get a backup catcher as Suzuki just isn't cutting it. Any chance on value I could get for him? I know Susac is on the block. JRM is my starter and hitting pretty solid. If I can't get anything solid for him I may just DFA or try him though waivers and see if anyone contacts me for a deal.Follow my Twins franchise http://www.operationsports.com/Tmizzle/dynasty/Comment

Re: MLB 16 Trade Discussion Thread
I still think Gallo, Profar and Mazara gets the job easily done. It actually helps the Rays this season. Mazara can step in at LF or RF right off the bat. Gallo could spend time in the minors or play 3B/DH and Profar could easily step in as the everyday SS. I think it's a win for both sides."Twelve at-bats is a pretty decent sample size." - Eric ByrnesComment

Re: MLB 16 Trade Discussion Thread
What's the going rate for Rich Hill? Using Scott Kazmir last year as a comp, I'm thinking two high C's should be sufficient.
I'm the Jays at the deadline and the A's are 15GBs, so Rich Hill is definitely getting traded. Here's the deal I have:
Toronto
Rich Hill: 7-6, 2.94ERA, 1.41WHIP
Oakland
Jorge Flores - SS, 23yr, 67 OVR, C POT
Mitch Nay - 3B/RF, 21yr, 63 OVR, C POT
John Anderson - SP, 27yr, 57 OVR, C POT
I offered Richard Urena but he is only a C POT in my franchise, so they were having none of that.
Thanks.Comment
