Would this be fair value? And would there be anyway to make this trade without Swihart?
Put me in the camp that does not think Teheran is an ace, but with that being said he is under team control through 2020 and if he continues to pitch like he has this season, that is extremely valuable in a league that gives Mike Leake $15 per year.

With $40 million left through 2020 Teheran would only need to average 1 WAR to break even. Say he averages 2.5 WAR which is his second best season you're looking at approximately $60 million in surplus value. So long story short no, it needs to include Swihart for the Braves to be willing to deal the young cost controlled pitcher. It may however be an overpay in terms of players. Maybe take away Longhi or Chavis

Would I be able to overpay in another way? Something in the ballpark of Austin Rei, Trey Ball, Michael Chavis, Nick Longhi, Michael Kopech, and another top 20 prospect?

Weird proposal, but let's see what everyone thinks for the guy above.

        Red Sox Receive:
        Julio Teheran
        Shae Simmons

        Braves Receive:
        Blake Swihart
        Michael Kopech
        Michael Chavis
        Trey Ball

Teams don't want quality over quantity. There is a middle ground, but 6 mehh prospects is worse than getting 3 quality prospects. The upside of Teheran mixed with the contract are what makes him valuable. The Braves would need something good coming back. Plus with the Strasburg deal there are no impact starters coming to Free Agency after the season, so the young starters that are available in trade are going to cost a fortune.

The thing with Joc is that it's hard to reproduce his power potential.

If the CPU Dodgers are burying him at the bottom of the order and are platooning him vs. LHP, then I'd say it's reasonable to pursue another option in the OF. Tracy Thompson will be coming up, and there are a couple of younger OF with some upside.

Maybe if you can land MIF help or a platoon player at C or LF to offset Grandal's weakness vs. LHP and Crawford's weakness vs. LHP, that could work, or you could try to grab 2 decent prospects if you're not desperate for major league ready players this year.
I have Caleb Joseph as my platoon C against LHP so I could offer him up to LAD easily. I'm thinking him and a nice OF prospect like Daz Cameron would be good.

This isn't really trade related but I was wondering what everyone's opinions were on what a good stat rating is.

I always thought it is 65

What about making this into more of a blockbuster? Something along the lines of Julio Teheran & Freddie Freeman going to Boston int exchange for Blake Swihart, Trey Ball, Michael Chavis, Nick Longhi, Clay Buchholz, Brian Johnson, & Deven Marrero?

You'd need to add way more man. One of Moncanda/Epinoza/Benintendi HAVE to be in there. Plus, Hanley/Ortiz?

                  Red Sox Receive:
                  Julio Teheran
                  Freddie Freeman

It'd be a very massive package. Way better than the Marlins deal involving Miggy and Willis.

Haha oh boy well then strike that deal, I have always been a fan of building around prospects and homegrown talent so much so that my friends make fun of me for it. And in regards to Hanley/Ortiz I was kind of thinking for 2017 Opening Day cause Oritz will be gone, Hanley could slide into DH and Freeman could be 1B but I think I may give Sam Travis a shot in 2017 in spring training and see how he does or just move Shaw back to 1B and Hanley to DH and Sandoval to 3B. Don't want to part with any top 5 prospects cause I think those guys have legit shots to be special in the MLB

Okay, 2017 makes more sense to me. And I believe we have some special prospects as well, but the control of Teheran and the bat/control of Freeman makes that deal cost anyone a fortune. It'd have to be one or the other, or else your future is going to Atlanta.

Just opinion wise what deal do you think would net more prospects, a Marlins trade of Jose Fernandez or ATL package of Teheran and Freeman

Personally, I'd say Atlanta with Freeman and Teheran. Marlins will want more, Braves will get more. The Marlins wanted anyone's top three prospects I believe, but I think they can be persuaded with a package like:

                          Swihart
                          Owens
                          One of big 3
                          Kopech
                          Chavis

So with that, Marlins would get more for the one player in regards of talent, but Braves would be getting even more on top of that trading both.

Holt for a decent RP if he is playing like usual or a decent prospect (nothing great).
