As for Cruz, he's getting quite old now, so I'm guessing a high C along with a good replacement OF would do it. But let's hear it from the other folks
    I'm the one trading them
Oakland A's - Seattle Mariners - Detroit Tigers
Pittsburgh Steelers - Green Bay Packers
    Detroit Red Wings

I was thinking this for Chris Carter:

      - Joe Kelly (would instantly become the Brewers 4th pitcher in the starting rotation)
      - a mid C prospect

      What yall think
      My teams:

Soccer (It's football, not soccer!!): SL Benfica
Baseball: Oakland A's/ San Francisco Giants
      Football: San Francisco 49ers

Oh well if you're looking to get rid of Felix u could go for a blockbuster. Any particular players you got your eye on?
For Cruz, like I said, don't expect more than a decent OF to replace him + a prospect

This deal looks fine. Joe Kelly has a couple more years of team control.

I don't really see that fitting for Texas.

Need a realistic 3b prospect target for the Marlins. Currently 17-18 with prado hitting .160. Also, would like some thoughts on trading for a SP. Fernandez, Chen, Conley, Cosart, and Koehler right now, would it be realistic to deal for a new No. 3/4 starter? Thanks!

Travis Shaw from the Red Sox is interesting at 3B. 25 years old, B potential and can start right away

Re: MLB 16 Trade Discussion Thread

Just dealt AJ Pollock to the Cubs for Jorge Soler and Willson Contreras in my DBacks franchise. Soler takes over full time left field duties while Yasmany Tomas got moved back to third base to platoon with Jake Lamb. It just made sense because Pollock's deal was a year and a half from expiring, with Soler and Contreras both having 4+ years of club control left on their contract. Plus my catching situation has been abysmal so now there's hope for the future.

You hit it right on the head. I'm looking for the same thing. I was thinking about trying to acquire Seager and a pitcher from
Seattle but I don't know yet

I wanted to post this here and see what people thought. Being in the Boston area, everybody is pushing for Dealing Dave Dombrowski to make a trade for a starting pitcher to help what's starting to look like a good team stay relevant. I know many people have posted on here about young controllable SPs and I was curious what people think about this:

                        BOS trades
                        C Blake Swihart
                        SP Trey Ball
                        SP Henry Owens
                        SP Clay Buchholz
                        SS Deven Marrero
                        3B Michael Chavis

                        OAK trades
                        SP Sonny Gray
Older, bigger contract to offset the money coming to OAK

I know a lot of people in the sportswriter world have said Blake would be a very good centerpiece of a deal and it kills me to include him because he's my 2nd favorite Sox player but if he can bring back your next 1a then I gotta pull the trigger. Just curious what people think about this trade

I don't really understand including Buchholz in the deal, even if you took back someone like Billy Butler (that bad contract to offset the money).

A Gray deal with Swihart would probably have to include Espinosa and more (definitely more than Chavis, and not anybody like Ball or Marrero because those guys don't add much to the deal).
