    6. Last year budgets expanded too fast. I patch corrected it. After the first season there is usually one or two teams that drop a 1% or remain unchanged. After that all teams regardless of record seem to gain 8-15% no matter the record. This causes teams to have way too much money that they don't spend. Here's an example of Mil. who lost over 100 games and the email states they receive an increase of 10% due to performance. I'm hoping for a patch to slow this down.

    I'm not sure that is a bug. I think it is revenue sharing. The message saying it is due to performance may be a bug but I think the result is what the devs intended.

      There is revenue sharing, but it is fictional since there is no revenue. It is just a fictional display to show where money has come from. Last year it just gave an increase, this year it tries to "rationalize" where it came from. I don't see any other fundamental difference from last year. Hopefully in the future they can have ticket sales and regional networks and such to have true revenue sharing.

      I don't think it's a bug, just needs to be tuned. The increases outpace the salaries. About 5 years in you start seeing 5-7 teams with 50 million plus. Later seasons there are teams with more than 100 million budget room.

      I don't necessarily think it needs to be tuned to an extreme because I believe the teams that are rebuilding are the ones with the most budget space.

      By decreasing the range of increases a little I think it would be fine. It doesn't have to be an extreme.

      In the future I'd like to see salaries "inflate" as seasons carry on. As it is now the max salary is the same in year one as year 15. The range salaries given based on age, potential and position doesn't change.

        whether its a bug or not, it still needs to be tuned a little bit, no way majority of teams have 50-75Mill budget room unspent, just sitting there

          Has anyone had trouble with the CPU not signing any free agents in franchise mode? I thought it would be cool to have the legends end up on different teams throughout the league but not one of them has been signed or any free agents for that matter. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!

            I see all guys being signed that should. There is guys 35 over that have lower ratings that go unsigned.

              Hello all, I'm a new.member and just made this account to ask a question about the show. Is there anyway to look at stats in players in triple a and double a. If you look at the player card it just shows 0 because they have not played any mlb games. Please help or is this a defect from the developers. Thanks all

                my pet peeve with franchise right now is Gold Gloves are displayed under the wrong people. for example, Angels, Yunel Escobar has a gold glove(which he never won last season)

                  You're talking about franchise mode, right? Yes, you can see all player stats at all levels. Go to the LEAGUE tab, and go to the STATISTICS box in the lower center. Click on that and you will see PLAYER STATISTICS. Use the R analog left and right to go to MLB, AAA, AA. R2/L2 scroll through the different teams.

                    I apologize if this has been covered as I haven't read the entire thread but after you complete the first year player draft where do you go to sign your drafted players? I know I have until the end of the regular season to sign them to a contract but I've entered just about every screen to find where to sign them and I can't find it.

                    Anyone else encountered this and what is the solution?

                      Is there a suggestion thread I could post a modification to the retirement process? I think it would be cool if you could personally override a players retirement for one season, like NBA 2K series. That way, you can personally avoid situations like Harper retiring way too early. Also, what is the oldest age you've seen a player retired in your sim barnes?

                        the osd template for the 1st AB needs to be swapped with the one used for the 2nd AB onwards. Maybe wrong but thats what seems to be issue to me.

                        MLB TS 15 displayed the current season stats on the walk up osd after the 1st AB.

                            I've seen guys hang on after good years. Some guys hold their ratings and sign a new deal at 37-39. The deals are realistic as well being one to two year deals.

                            I think there is a roll of the dice probability for retirement based on age, overall etc...with a higher probability for retirement the older the player is. Just may have been bad luck.

                              Yep I have a very good feeling the OSD is bugged. Has a bug reprot been made for this on The Show Nation??? I think this is a huge thing for immersion and TV style presentation.

                                1. First I transferred over my 1987 90 Man Year 2 Chise - The only minor issue is the Role bug but it did not effect overalls at all. Nada. So that is really no big deal, it is going to be patched, and it fixes itself in the off-season. Career Stats were 100% accurate except for the zero colums we all know show up for GP, BB etc. I hope a patch can address that. But I think that may be a little deeper but who knows. Either way I can't let it ruin my enjoyment nor will i let it. I saw very few players with that Netherland birth place bug and 98% of the borth places were in tact and accurate.

                                2. Did the same with my Year 2 2014 Yankees Franchise - Same result. Everything looks really good except the known bugs.

                                3. I went ahead and DL Bacons V 10 2016 roster on MLB 15, created a 30 Team Franchise file, transfered it over before Spring Training started. then simmed through spring training. You get the 2016 schedule!!! However if you can deal with the fact that career stats will begin for 2015 and it is technically the 2015 season for year 1....you have a fully fleshed out, ratings edited, full minor league 90 man roster ahead of OSFM if you wawnt to get going now. I want to start playing now.

                                People. It's all about perspective. Yes Statistics are important to me....very important. But the zero stat lines for certain categories IMO should be fixed via Patch. I don't have any information from SCEA that it will in fact be fixed....but I trust those guys.

                                This game is amazing. Get going. Transfer your files....start playing. The Morale bug is waaaaaaaaaay overstated. It does not effect them really at all. Minor leagues a little more....but 99% of the players are not getting a ratings bump down because of that one factor (roles) in the big equation that makes up the overall morale of the player.
                                Hey Armor and Sword, Do your rosters get scrambled when continuing from MLB 15? My players are either missing,wrong or replaced with a generic name and look. Any ideas?
