Re: Baserunners Diving Back on Line Drive Hits (Glitch or User Error?)
Oh you can be sure it is bug. BTW, I've never saved a video within the game to post elsewhere. How does one do this? i'd be happy to post a video as it's happened too may time to count.Comment

Re: Baserunners Diving Back on Line Drive Hits (Bug or User Error?)
The dive back to first has only happened to me once, but the issue that is happening every game for me is baserunners diving into a base for no reason.
For example, runner on second, ball is hit into the right center gap, I highlight the runner and click home, but it's stuck in third. While the outfielder is picking up the ball on the warning track the baserunner dives head first into third. It cost me a run and it has happened to me almost every game. I've tried auto slide and assisted slide with no difference.
Happened to anyone else?

Re: Baserunners Diving Back on Line Drive Hits (Glitch or User Error?)
I'm not sure why some people say it doesn't really happen to them and others say it happens all the time. I have put the game away until this bug is fixed because it happens to me ALL the time. Let's just hope that the next patch will fix this game breaking issue.
PS: I'll try and post some videos just for the sake of this thread.Comment

Re: Baserunners Diving Back on Line Drive Hits (Glitch or User Error?)
I am in the club that has seen this happen for years, and have posted and complained about. Part of the problem to me is the base running logic where runners dive back to the bag on contact with 2 outs.. Sorry but that wouldn't happen. I keep hoping that someone will listen about the situation where this happens. It has cost me numerous runs over the years. I haven't seen it as much in this years version but have seen it. Hope it can be fixed one of these years
Here is a link to one of my old posts regarding this issue that will show that it has been going on for a while. It is not new to this version.
