These are just a few things I can think of at the moment and will probably post again when I think of some more things.

Being able to edit managers
More hair and beard options for created players
Rotating schedules in franchise
More licensed equipment
I know they have MLB records but I would like if every team had records that you could break
More uniforms
I like the player morale and would like them to add to it
Dynamic weather
No trade clauses
Also hope they can expand on the Human IK engine
Smarter A.I roster management

I hope they don't just add things to online franchise next year and completely forget about offline. I know the people who play online franchise didn't get any improvements this year but hopefully they can make it so both online and offline get attention.

More customization. In everything. From renaming mgrs., coaches & umps, to custom interleague schedules, custom quick count percentanges, amount of teams in leagues, rename the year of the season, custom hot zones, more choices for secondary positions,
edit service time, and many many more other small detail type things that allow you to futher immerse yourself. But I've been wishing for these things for so long I'm afraid tha probably just isn't the direction SCEA chooses to go. And I'm fine with that, so long as they don't take away the ability to import over every real player I will continue to make this a yearly purchase.

Gameplay:

• players over sliding bases
• new slide rule
• collisions with other players or walls
• improved CPU bullpen logic
• improved CPU pinch hitting logic
• more/improved catcher animations
• less running on dropped 3rd strikes

Franchise:

• better morale options
• ability to disable morale
• improved 40 man roster logic
• rotating schedules
• players learning/forgetting positions
• prospect board showing top 50/100
• improved callup/recall logic
• 7 inning MiLB Double Headers
• expansion mode (Expos?)
• ability to edit rounds in amateur draft

Diamond Dynasty:

• improved servers
• coach cards
• more uniform options
• more hat options
• more number styles

Roster/Player Editing:

• editable options
• editable service time
• editable icons
• editable cap brims
• more players per roster
• more backup position options
• utility backup position
• 'pitch framing' attribute
• more licensed equipment
• option to unbutton top button
• necklaces over uniforms

Other:

• The Show Live meets season mode. Rosters are automatically updated so they're accurate to real life when you play season mode. Everything is locked so lineups/rosters can't be changed but there would need to be a delay because of the legality of the MLBPA and such.
• more classic stadiums (County Stadium, Astrodome, etc)

Couldn't agree more.

On a related note, if we can't get year-to-year roster transfers, maybe they could at least add an "export roster" feature in franchise mode. Madden had this at one point.

Since we can transfer franchise files from year to year, this seems a workable solution in place of actual roster compatibility.

- [ ] Better looking grass, looks great from up close but not when pitching/batting or when ball in play
- [ ] Full control over the OSD's if you want them off the screen we should be able to do so.
- [ ] Manual pickoff retreat option (when on base)

-Let me create an older player instead of participating in the Amateur showcase it's replaced by a pro day where you would workout for teams in order to get a spring training invite play well in the spring and make the roster or start in AAA Kind of like in the old MLB the show games. What if I wanted to start out as a 27 year old Cuban player in RTTS? or If I wanted to try something like Jim Morris The Rookie and start out as a 35 year old?
Also let me play until I'm 55 I want to pull off a Jamie Moyer or a Julio Franco

-More hairstyles and beard options they have been the same since 14

-Batting cages right now the batting practice option is a drill can you change it to where it's not a drill and you can just take some swings? Like this and this

-Make money mean something in RTTS let me use the money to either purchase drills, certain perks like a training program or diet that reduces the effects of aging so your skills don't decline fast kind, also performance bonuses in our contracts.

-Let me sign an agent and improve free agency. Let me tell my agent which teams I want to sign with in addition to receiving offers from interested teams. Right now you just receive random offers what if I want to sign with the Brewers but they don't offer you a contract right now you have to wait until spring training to "try out" for them and then they offer you a contract and thats if you make the team there have been a couple times where I failed to make the team and remained a free agent which sucked. Let me tell my agent to reach out to them and get working on a contract. Also let me ask for a no trade clause in my contract that could come in handy later on.

-Post game interview questions one of the things I like about NBA 2k is that our player speaks. I'd like to see that in The show. Keep it simple maybe 2 or 3 questions after a game and make them appear only occasionally. You don't even have to hire many voice actors I wouldn't mind having Ramone as the voice of my character :P

-Let me play as a DH if I'm in the A.L

-As a reliever or closer let me warm up in the bullpen before entering the game

The commentary is getting a little stale. Would love if they changed it up a bit, starting with the commentators themselves.

Out with E.K. and Psycho, in with Kruk and Shilling. Matt V. is fine.

Track playoff stats and records.

Clutch shouldn't be something you can just put points in, it should be earned. I definitely think 2k got it right with their "clutch situations" (except the score from third one, that was free points)

1. Get rid of international players in draft
2. Editable draft classes
3. More clear milestones for getting elected to the hall of fame
4. Manually adding players to hall of fame and choose which team they go in as
5. Offensive and defensive war
6. Better bullpen Ai
7. Position changes especially for minor league starters who become major league relievers.
8. Rotating schedules
9. Twitter feed for franchise
10. Adidas and new balance brands

1. Custom Schedules. (give us a blueprint of a schedule and allow us to customize the schedule...maybe even make a tutorial in it for Franchise mode...possibly an executive mode?)

2. More in depth history for hitter vs pitcher. For instance, let's say Yadi Molina hits a certain pitcher very well in his history....increase in stats and also make reference to it (Molina is hitting .350 in his career vs John Smith with 6 extra base hits)

3. More defined roles in the bullpen. For instance...allow us to designate LOOGYs.

The only wishes I have are that trade/40 man/lineup logic be improved in franchise. As well as continuing to expand equipment.

The equipment thing, I'm sure will happen. They expanded it quite a bit this year. I'd like to see Victus, New Balance and Jordan equipment in next year, which would pretty much cover off every brand used in the majors. If they do that and expand on the brands already in, generic equipment will be unnecessary.

MOST IMPORTANTLY...

AI Bullpen management. This is probably the only area in the game that is totally unrealistic and doesn't represent real baseball at all. This is super crucial IMO.

Pitcher Splits - I firmly believe this is the heart of the bad bullpen/gateway to actual bullpen management, not just matching same hand vs same hand.

Sim Engine Sliders - no more of this "move the slider here for sim games and then back for played games". Also, gives us a way to avoid things like 1/4 of the league having team ERA's under 3.00, etc. Let us adjust the balance of the sim engine like OOTP does.

Player Creation Sliders - again, similar to OOTP, let us adjust how the players come out for the drafts/players that are discovered.

In RTTS - let me be a reliever. I mean just a RP. Not a CP. Not have to fail as a SP but then don't do too well as a RP. Just an outright RP.
