After playing for hours yesterday, it really bothers me that the hair just does not look realistic at all. I want to see hair waving around and blowing in the wind! Especially pitchers when they are in the middle of their delivery. I know it is possible to achieve this. SCEA needs to know how realistic it is to have.

Definitely more equipment. Mizuno and Nike catching gear, Mizuno and All-star gloves, Adidas and NB shoes, Mizuno and Adidas batting gloves.

If they continue with showtime, they should make diving catches more difficult than just pressing a single button. Throwing is more difficult than making diving catches as it is currently. If the diving catches were like the throwing mechanic but even a bit more difficult, that would be more enjoyable. They need to work out the kinks with this, or at least make it an option to fully disable it.
Someone has probably brought this up already, but more in depth financial management in franchise mode would be cool. Seeing where all of your revenue comes from, how much, and linking that to budget could be fun.Comment

Player development slider.
Default would be whatever they do for next year.
Max would be fast growth, slow decline. Min would be fast decline, slow growth.
In between those would be scaled from normal to the max or min, accordingly.

GM/Manager Traits:
Is the GM Willing to give up top prospects at the deadline? Does he go out and spend a bunch of money in the offseason? Does he make a lot of offseason trades? Does he sign foreign FAs? Does he push prospects up through the farm quickly, or give them plenty of time to develop? Does he believe in "Rebuilding", or will he always try to be competitive?
How often does the manager use the Shift (Never, Rarely, Normal, Often...)? How does he construct his lineup (Ex: Leadoff Man: Fast/OBP/Count-worker; 2nd Hitter: prototypical(can bunt, hit and run, work counts...)/2nd leadoff man/best hitter(a lot of saber metric guys suggest a teams best hitter should hit second)...)?? Does he leave his starter out there after 110 pitches? Does he like to strech out his relievers?Chicago Cubs

Ability to turn quick counts on/off. I may start with quick counts but when a runner is on base maybe switch to full counts.

As I've played through The Show 16, there are a couple of things that I'd like to see added for 2017.
1. In RTTS, the ability to relinquish base running control back to the CPU at any point during that particular time on base. I like to steal bases so I set it up so that I only control when I'm the lead runner and I see all pitches. This is great when I'm on 1st or 2nd but it really drags on when I'm on 3rd. It would be nice to have a button you could hit on the fly and have the CPU take back over.
2. This is a minor thing but it takes away from the realism for me. I'm a Yankee fan and when I'm playing against the Yankees in any mode and I see they have traded for Andrew Cashner and he's sporting the huge beard, it drives me nuts. Yankees aren't allowed to have beards (mustaches at the most) It would be nice if the facial hair could be edited or if the CPU just knew enough to take it off when someone dawns the pinstripes (I think the Marlins have this rule too now under Mattingly)
3. Can I get the last name "Lestage" in the game? Please, Please, Please?Comment

I know it has been said a thousand times before, but I'll say it again: I need a create-A-team mode to make this game playable. I live in North Carolina, and there are no teams anywhere near here. The only team I've ever supported is the Red Sox (I am from New England), but I've never been able to play with them in video games.
RTTS is not something I'm interested in, and neither is online play (unless it's with friends). First of all I want to say I am loving 16! However there are things I would like to see:
- The ability to import players into an existing franchise. I would love to be able to add the new players from the weekly roster updates into an existing franchise. I realise this could cause issues with Y2Y saves so:
- Ability to export entire rosters from existing franchise.
- Quick counts; my favourite feature in the game. It would be nice if we could have 0-1; 1-0; 2-0 counts.
- More classic stadiums please.
- More roster slots.
- Team identity/player roles; players and staff have toles and philosophies for team-building and financial purposes. Probably overambitious in one dev cycle as I've never played a sports game without squad building AI issues.
- More hair and equipment options for caps would be cool.
- Optional attribute masking and more stats. Have the option to hide ratings in Franchise so talent evaluation would have to rely more on stats
- The above would mean improving the sim engine.
