    Custom Draft Classes.

Playable or simulated Single A games.

Team relocation. Madden has it, NBA 2k has it, and NHL has it. So why not The Show?

Tricky/Complicated/Slippery Slope idea but a good one. I pitch on legend vs. the cpu and have found couple ways to pitch to contact (of course not a fool proof way) but I most certainly think it's something to be considered. Obviously all pitchers aren't strikeout pitchers so there has to be some slack for contact/location guys.

Technically no it isn't, you can select your "preferred" number, even if it's retired by that team (except 42). You'll be given a number that is available close to the number if it is, in fact, a number retired by that team. At least in the edit player window in RttS. I'm not sure about other modes.

I did get a warning once this year. I didn't risk it for an ejection because of the game situation, but a warning was issued to both benches. It came up in a window like the injury window.

I would go the opposite way and let the retired numbers in, speaking as a guy who likes to use classic rosters, kind of hard to do anything with the Yankees.

Maybe an option during league setup?

okay good to know. I was playing the Dodgers. Kershaw was pitching. Threw behind a batter and then hit him on the next pitch. Hit another batter later on. I didn't retaliate until the 8th inn after another one of their pitcher hit my men. No warning's or ejections.

I don't remember the circumstance. I On my way. they hit my guy twice early on so in the 8th (they were blowing me out I seem to remember) I decided to get them back. Missed with a high fast ball that instead went up toward the head. Hit him solid on the back next pitch. That is when I got the warning.

Ok I'm confused I thought that he was asking that he didn't want to use retired numbers. Which is already in the game you can't select numbers that are retired by a team.

                              1. Mid season contract extensions, even if the player isn't due at the end of the season. If it is going to effect morale, you need to be able to give the player a new contract to meet his performance of you choose to do so.

                              2. After you pinch hit for someone, you should be given the option to sub him out before he takes the field. It's a little tacky that an OF who pinch hit for my catcher actually takes the field in catchers gear and starts stretching behind the plate like he is getting ready to catch.

Also, kind of along the same lines, if your pitcher is struggling or there is a good opportunity for a better matchup with someone warming in the bullpen, I would like a chance to get that pitcher in the game before a quick count is established.
This could also be applied to mound visits. I hate taking mid-at bat mound visits.

Same goes for pinch hitters with quick counts on. Let you decide to make a sub in the on deck circle, that way your better matchup gets his own quick count. Hate getting to the plate on an 0-2 count that your terrible hitting catcher earned, when you had a good pinch hitter you wanted in the game.

I know you could say this is just the nature of the beast with quick counts on, but I really do enjoy the quick count, but I still want the realism of making changes on the fly without having an at-bat start.

                              3. As others have stated, more commentary, or a complete overhaul with an actual television broadcast would be awesome.

                              4. A franchise mode/owner mode similar to NBA 2K would be awesome. With the ability to change prices, relocate, and basically control every single aspect of running a team. I miss the days of having to upgrade facilities and stuff. It would add a completely new dynamic to this already great game.

I may sound picky, but these are some small things that could really make this already outstanding game be one of the GOATS.

All of you guys have great ideas and i love all the one to make the game more realistic but i am afraid all they seem to care about is the DD which i for one am disappointed because they claim to put out the most realistic game but spend to much time and resources on DD it really is a shame
